I needed a cortisone injection in each thumb joint for my arthritis. Dr. Ferlic thoroughly examined my hands and ordered x-rays. He explained the choices I had and let me decide. He warned me how painful the shots are before he started and that helped me prepare for it so I didn’t jerk my hand. He is very compassionate and I won’t go to any other hand doctor. He also performed carpal tunnel surgery on both hands and “trigger” thumb on one.

Dr Ferlic has performed carpal tunnel surgery on both of my hands. Both surgeries were in a big success and I was extremely impressed by his bedside manner. He is so easy to talk to and listens to you about your condition but looks at all the issues you have going on medically not just your hand. Not only is Dr Ferlic extremely personable and professional, his assistants are just as personal and kind. I had to have an injection in my thumb which was quite painful but his staff kept me occupied by talking to me as he administered the injection.He is very thorough with explaining his findings and if you agree to having surgery with him he also goes into detail of what is going to happen and what to expect after the surgery. I would highly recommend Dr Ferlic if you ever need carpal tunnel surgery or any other issuesrelated to the hand!!

Dr. Ferlic is the best. He is positive, polite, genuine, cheerful, and top notch in his field. He’s respectful to the nurses who work with him too. That shows a lot about his character.

I am classical music concert pianist from Eastern Europe, all my life inhumanely extensive tremendous hard work, rehearsals, performances in famous halls with leading soviet orchestras. I was new in america, complete foreigner when my finger got swollen. One person recommended Ferlic. Everyone said it could be arthritis. As a young person I read online and got stressed to death. I am brilliant in my profession. My appointment was weeks ahead. same american called his home and wife said that I could go straight in his office. I went, I saw he was standing there. I never had even chance to encounter him, After finding out I was there, He asked 2 ugly women to come an take me out from the building. When women saw me, they got very nice, advised me more patience. I understood america is not Russia to understand what hands mean in classical music life dedication. When I again become famous world wide I share my disgusting american experience with the whole world!!! Does not let me type long

Excellent! My first Hand Dr. at South Bend Orthopedics was Dr. Rozzi who retired. I just started going to Dr. Ferlick. He is working with several other Doctors as my hand problem could be coming from somewhere else along my arm or shoulder. He is very patient and explains everything to me. He listens to what I am telling him about my condition. So far, we have tried several ways to fix my hand problem and are doing all we can to avoid surgery. I have full trust in Dr. Ferlick as he is taking his time, trying all our options and not rushing me into surgery. His Nurses and staff are also very caring and helpful. I would recommend him to every body.
