Recommended without reservation
Dr. Pinto has been my primary care doc since about 1990. I have always found him to be attentive, thorough, competent and considerate. I would recommend him without reservation. I don't understand the negative comments here.

Dr. Pinto has been my doctor for 35 years, except for the 3 years that I spent in Iowa. He put together the team of surgeons, oncologists and endocrinologists who cared for me in 1999 when I was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. I am now a 21 year survivor. He has always taken great care and as much time as is needed to examine me, answer my questions and offer alternative treatments when appropriate.

Dr. Pinto has been our family doctor for 20+ years. He is an excellent diagnostician, and literally saved the life of a family member due to his willingness to look at the whole picture and not being afraid to request testing or consultations. He is exceptional.

I saw him because my doctor was out. He walked in the room, saw me, and stated, you're not my patient, your case is too complicated, I am not helping you. Totally rude and unprofessional so I left and went to a new practice. The office was very bad about answering phones, took weeks to get an appointment, and could not diagnosis an issue I had that was getting worse for the past 2 years. Thanks for being so rude and chasing me away because I went elsewhere and was quickly diagnosed.

One problem I have with PCP is that they only look at blood work 1 way. If you're in the normal range, then nothing to worry about. But what they fail to do is to mention where the optimal point / range is for you/your age etc. I read my online profile along with medical notes from my visit and it mentioned that an exercise regimen was suggested due to high BMI. Well, this was not discussed during my appointment. Looking for a more thorough and friendler and more caring doctor.

Wow. This guy. I came in for a prescription for a cold, which I knew that I had, and instead, he tried to fix something that was not wrong with me, and I didn't end up getting the prescription that I needed.
