he was very rude! he didn’t listen to me and diagnosed me with lower back pain. I did not go to the ER for lower back pain! I saw him for a total of 30 seconds.

I was medevaced to Maui from a different island to be admitted and get a certain amount of tests done that my home doctor had ordered. My doctor had me sent to Maui to stay there for at least two days to help get my nausea and pain under control. Dr. Stark ran a CT scan and told me to go home. I was supposed to be medevaced back home, but Dr. Stark asked if I had any friends on Maui to come and pick me up from the ER. I had never even been to Maui, let alone know anybody there. He then told me I could catch the ferry at 4pm to make it back home. I could barely walk I was in so much pain, and I was vomiting and had uncontrollable nausea. He told me I had an underlying condition and lived in the absolute worse place to have this and needed to go back to the mainland... Because I was medevaced there in a hospital gown, I had to have the nurse go to the lost and get me clothes/shoes so I could leave the hospital since Dr. Stark discharged me. Worst Dr and care I've ever experienced.

Let's just say he is an unpleasant individual to deal with and really does not belong in the emergency room treating patients. He borders on neglect and lacks in empathy, compassion, concern for the patients wellbeing. He is anything but attentive and can not see beyond his narrow scope of the world.

I came into the emergency room because my doctor back in the states said I needed a blood transfusion because my hemaglobin was very low. When they finally took a blood test, the nurse said my results were even lower than the day before. He argued with her and told her she read the wrong numbers. Hence, I did not get the transfusion but left. I could have died on my return flight back to the states later that week. I would not rate him as a good doctor nor would I recommend him to anybody.
