Bad visit
My daughter saw Dr. Alhaj and it didn't go well. She is on a certain medication and he asked questions that should have ruled out the need for a pregnancy test. I told him that it wasn't necessary. Later that day I got a call from him and he was very disrespectful to me. I would never recommend him to anyone. He is the worst doctor I have ever met and I'm a nurse.

Dr. Al Haj is an experienced and very professional doctor. He monitors my health closely and is concerned with my overall well being. Best of all, he answers emails promptly!

No one answers the phone and no one returns calls
I've tried calling his office several times to schedule an appointment because he was recommended to me by a friend who is his patient. No one answers the phone, and they do not return calls although I left several detailed messages. Now I need to look for someone else. I will also contact my insurance company to report.

Dr AlHaj is an excellent doctor, however, after 10 years his office staff continues to be just awful. They NEVER answer the phone, EVER, the first time! I have not wanted to tell Dr AlHaj about this but I have addressed it with the staff. I will address it and if it doesn't change I will find another doctor.

Disappointed. Dr. asked me several of the same questions 2-3 times; clearly wasn’t listening. Didn’t seem to care. Not the right physician for me.

The first visit was great. He took a lot of time to talk to me, and we discussed some issues. Very few doctors these days take the time to listen and discuss. I look forward to using him as my specialist moving forward!

I don’t understand the bad reviews. I’ve been seeing the doc for 3 years, he’s extremely knowledgeable and I’d trust anything he recommended. As for the front desk, yes they’re busy but most good doctors offices are. I also don’t go to a doctor based on his front desk, I go based on the doctors skills and knowledge. Anytime I call with questions for the doc I get a call back from him or his staff within an hour. I don’t have enough good things to say!

I've been going to this physician for a couple of years now. The receptionist always seems to be overwhelmed and not very friendly at all. They have no desire whatsoever to be accommodating to the patient when trying to schedule an appointment. First I get told not to schedule the first appt in the morning because the doctor doesn't always come in on time and the next 1 pm appt isn't for two months! Seriously. No empathy from this office at all; will be seeking a new rheumatologist for sure!

Office staff including secretary and office manger are brash, not compassionate and run office like your just a number and not a patient. I have found a new rheumatologist and will not be returning to see this doctor. I have several doctors in my family and none of them run their offices this way!! It’s so unfortunate that reputations of good docs like Dr Alhaj are tarnished by their employees.

Highly recommend Dr. Al Haj. Spends as much time as you need to discuss whats going on. Is not quick to just medicate you. Reminds me of an old school doctor but with up to date procedures and technology.
