This is Veteran Dennis C. Johnson again. We have recently received and read my UMC Medical Records created from my recent UMC Hospital recovery stay when I was under the very kind care of Dr. R. Tamayo MD. I have since discovered I was misdiagnosed by Dr. Tamayo MD during this time, two misdiagnoses regarding my diagnosis of “Dementia without behavioral disturbance” he wrote “Alzheimer’s with behavioral disturbance” and included I experience “Sundowning”, I do not. Many problems with my care occurred during my recovery stay at UMC Hospital. Now explained. I was ‘erroneously’ presented as a potential behavior problem. This was for me a very unfortunate oversight. It seriously tainted my recovery stay. This all will pass. I will have the records properly amended as I can prove my assertions and have my record corrected. Dr. R. Tamayo MD is very kind and professional and patient-oriented. Once this is cleared up this Doctor deserves 5 Stars. I will update remove this review.
