Dr. Raphael Ng, MD

Dr Ng is a very knowledgeable, kind hearted, wonderful doctor. He explains things in great detail and spends extra time with you if needed. I trust him with my child’s care 100%.

Refused to see my children again after I politely mentioned I felt his treatment could have been more aggressive after my daughter was sick for over 6 weeks.Slow to prescribe antibiotics.

I took my 5 week old daughter to Dr Ng and he was very thorough and was genuinely caring toward her! He answered all my questions. I will be keeping him as my son and daughter’s pediatrician!

Dr.Ng is amazing doctor. He has done such an amazing job with all three of our kids. He has been their pediatrician since they were all infants. He is patient, he listens to you about any concerns you have. You would love him!!

Dr. Ng and his staff have been awesome every time we’ve been there. There is little to no wait and Dr. Ng sits with us for as long as it takes to answer all our questions. I’m very happy my kids have him as their pediatrician.

If any of you take your children to Dr. Ng, I highly recommend you don't. My son is on prescription allergy medication, montelucast, that helps keep his asthma in check. He had no more re-fills, so I called to get it refilled. They said since he hasn't been in since in 6 months (it's been 6 1/2) , he needed to be seen. I told them I have a $6,000 deductible on my insurance that is not met yet and an office visit will cost me anywhere between $175-$300 because it's all out of pocket until we hit $6,000, since it's just allergy medicine and he still had allergies can they just re-fill. They said no, I asked to talk to the Dr, told them I'd come in if it was a free check, they said no. They'd call me back. They called me back and told me they can put me on a payment plan, I told them it's a waste of money just to get allergy medicine for an ongoing condition. They only care about the money, not the kids.

We have been with Dr. NG for five years. We absolutely love him and the staff. They are so friendly and always helpful to work my children in when they need to be seen. We have two children and Dr. Ng has become like family to us. We absolutely love him!

Office mgmt has always been weak. Visits always felt rushed. Now it's just a pain to even bother.

Would not treat my son for the Adenovirus

Dr. NG is very nice, but his visit with my children was always very short. The nurses seem like robots, they aren’t personable and some are difficult to understand. Wait times were always long. I changed pediatricians after my sons 3yo shots - I asked her to hide them from him, yet she walked in with them on a tray and just told us to hold him down. They are cut and dry, not the way to be with kids in my opinion...Halifax Children’s Med Center in PC is amazing!

Dr Ng and his staff are absolutely the most dedicated dr office we have ever come in contact with. Our baby girl had some issues after birth and Dr Ng made every effort possible to make sure she was taken care of when the hospitals were not listening to us. You can trust Dr Ng and you can count on him to listen and take the time with your child. To me, that is priceless. Unfortunately we had to move but I promise you, we miss this practice. There is no better doctor out there.

Dr. Ng and his staff are incredible. My daughter was very sick in the first 30 days of her life. Dr. Ng discovered she had Pyloric Stenosis and had her treated at Wolfson's within 12 hours. The follow up and care of this office is unheard of in today's medical practices. The appointment is never rushed and the time is taken to listen, and respond to any and all questions. I would highly recommend Dr. Ng to anyone who is looking for a trustworthy, knowledgeable and compassionate pediatrician.
