Very poor. Staff was wonderful but I was treated like a drug seeking junky. I’ve had a back replacement from S1-L-3 and was told to return after surgery only to be told he will not proscribe me pain medications knowing prior to me coming what I was coming for. Less then five minute visit and walked out.

Trial spinal cord stimulator
My whole experience with this has been awesome. Doctor Rashid Khalil did the trial for me. I left it in a week. He removed it after that week. I felt no pain in my lower back which I've had for 30 years. I felt no sciatica pain which I've had recently and been in therapy for, and my neuropathy felt 50%. Better overall, I would say that the trial spinal cord stimulator. Worked 90%.I am going to get the permanent one.Put in and I thank Doctor Khalil for being such a competent compassionate. ,Intelligent doctor who really cares about his patients and there well being.

My experience was not pleasant.
Just got back from my appointment, he is the most arrogant doctor there is. I have had 4 back surgery's rods, cages, and pins. He wanted to do shots all kinds of procedures. My neurosurgeon said there was nothing more he could do. It got around to medications. I was informed he was not a pain doctor and did not prescribe medications. At that point he walks out the door. My experience with Dr. Khalil was not pleasant.

Very personable and answers all questions
I couldn’t be more happy with my results and the Dr and staff. I have had chronic back pain for more than 3 years and did 8-9 injections and ablations, 2 sessions of PT, dry needling with no relief Dr Khalil did the Intracept surgery 2 weeks ago and I am now walking over 10,000 steps a day. I have my life back.

Professional and kind
2 years ago I was told to relieve pain from 4 discs that were ranked mid to severely bad I could have injections for temporary relief until I quit smoking. My surgeon wanted to use plates and spacers. I'm in my 60s and had read stories of failure and repeat surgeries. I didn't want to complete my life with the possibility of constant pain battles. I started the process of quitting smoking and went from pack and a half to a half pack to prepare for a grim inevitable and saw the previous doctor at the clinic. He rudely told me I'd never quit amongst other things and I went home angry and defeated. He did the first 2 injections which lasted 5 months each. I saw Dr Kahlil for the 3rd injection which lasted 8 months. He informed me of the new procedure Intracept and gave me ample time reading info and heared success stories. I signed papers happily so he could work on getting it approved with my insurance. Same day surgery with much less risk than major surgery. You bet! Kind and caring!

You're in Good Hands
I suffered from chronic back pain for months, having to use a cane and walker to get up after sitting. I was sent to pain management and met Dr. Rashid Khalil. What a blessing.. from day one I knew I was in good hands. He is amazing!! His team is wonderful! They go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and important. I had a Radio Frequency Ablation. This procedure helped but didn't take care of my particular problem,I had three areas that required treatment. Dr. Khalil recommended a second procedure, Intracept, explaining in detail what he would be doing. He said this would be a one and done procedure. I had faith in his ability to help me. I had this procedure three weeks ago. I no longer need my walker, cane and I no longer take pain medication.. Trust me, you are in good hands with Dr. Khalil and his Team! The Intracept procedure worked wonders for me ,I would highly recommend it to others suffering in pain.

My family has.come.hime crying because of how rude and uncaring Dr. Khalil is to them. His patients are in pain and in desperate need of help, yet he treats them like they are drug addicted meth heads from the streets. Please find a better person for the job.

Dr Khalil preformed an intracept procedure on 9/23/22. The dr was very clear with me about the procedure, recovery and any risks. I fully agreed with this treatment. He also personally contacted my by phone the next day to inquire how I was. The procedure was a complete success i have had 70% decrease in my pain, and an increase in my activity level. Dr Khalil is a very empathetic dr. He showed knowledge and concern to help me manage my chronic pain. I am grateful to him and feel very comfortable continuing to allow him to treat me.

The staff and nurses are great, but Dr. Khalil is terrible. If it is not his way then your out. You are forced to stop certain medications that you have been on for years and years in order to get treatment for pain, you are forced into procedures or be taken off your meds. I have no problem with the procedures that I choose but do not force new on me that I do not approve of.

Very Knowledgeable.
I have been seeing Dr. Khalil for a few years and have been quite pleased with his care. After less invasive procedures which were not successful, he suggested a spinal cord stimulator by Nevro which was the best choice. It is effective except for SI joint pain which he explained is due to pressure from four fusions and rods. He then prescribed a nerve ablation which helped a lot. It lasted over a year and now I have another one scheduled. I have always found him to explain procedures and options very well and has always been very cordial and friendly. I highly recommend Dr. Khalil.
