Professional but friendly

Having just relocated, was tasked with finding a new doctor in my network. After some research I scheduled with Dr. Martinez. Upon arrival I was dissapointed to learn that I had scheduled with a clinic rather than a private practice. My dissapointment faded quickly after meeting the Dr. Martinez. He appeared to be very capable, personable and proactive in my healthcare. I intend to continue seeing Dr. Martinez.

I have had Dr. Martinez for year and I just love him. He is caring and listens to me. He is knowledgeable and efficient.

I wanted to see him about my distended abdomen and a hard mass, and because I couldn't eat or drink without pain. I thought the appointment was in person, but even after I explained and got angry, he still would only talk to me over an ipad. Then even though we never met, he never examined me, and he wouldn't listen to me, when I questioned the need for another CT Scan, when I had just had one that apparently shed no light on the mass, he pulled the "Have you had medical training" fallacy, as though despite his total ignorance of me, he was somehow not to be questioned. He hadn't even looked at my records well enough to know if I was diabetic or not. When I asked him what I should eat, he said "Anything you want" as though he hadn't even listened to the first part of the conversation.
