Dr. Raven Lipmanson, MD

We were previously with a different child psychiatrist ("Dr. M.") outside of Psychiatry Associates, and working with Dr. Lipmanson and her team is a night and day difference. She listens and actually hears what my daughter is saying. She asks all of the right follow up questions and is thoughtful with her responses. It is obvious Dr. L. has been through mental complexities herself, or has loved ones who have, because she understands and empathizes in a way that goes beyond simply professional expertise and medical degrees. She is a little quirky when you get to know her, in all of the best ways. The front desk folks, Heather and Kadie, are also incredibly caring and helpful. With the previous place, we'd often go days or even weeks without hearing back, even when it came to important things like desperately-needed medication refills -- not so with Psychiatry Associates. They respond within about an hour through the patient portal, and are usually about 2 steps ahead of me. Thank you!

I recommend Dr. Lipmanson as a mom of two children who are under her care as well as a therapist. I refer many of my younger clients to Dr. Lipmanson.

Dr. Lipmanson is caring, knowledgeable, and thorough.

Dr. Lipmanson prescribed anti-depressants with apparent disregard for side-effects, even after the side-effects were clearly happening. When in doubt, up the dose, seemed to be her approach.

Dr. Lipmanson is kind, considerate, and knowledgable. We were able to find a solution for our son's ADHD after normally prescribed medications did not work well and had bad side effects. Dr. Lipmanson also provided great counseling to us as parents that helped.
