Dr. Ravi Goel, MD

Dr.. Goel is personable, professional, and provides comprehensive eye care. I had cataract surgery with excellent results. He also provides excellent follow up and routine care. I have recommended Dr. Goel to friends, neighbors, and family members with confidence.

The WORST doctor's experience of my life. Not only was Dr. Goel lacking in anything resembling a bedside manner, my exam was rushed and I actually had to ask him if my eyes were okay before he rushed out of the room. Do not expect the office staff at the desk to extend common courtesy if you have an underlying medical condition that makes it tough to be under the fluorescent lighting and ask to be put in a patient room to alleviate the issue. All the young ladies could do was yell at me to stay on the other side of the waiting room before I could even get my concern out of my mouth.

The best and most thorough eye exam I've ever had! The process was clean and welcoming. A very courteous and professional staff!

Cataract surgery. The procedure went exactly as Dr. Goel had told me it would. I was in and out in less than 2 hours, had no pain and could see through the affected eye as soon as I got home. The recovery process has been easy and i think the procedure was a success.

My experience with Dr. Goel was fantastic. He is very knowledgeable and takes plenty of time to listen to my concerns and makes sure that I am comfortable with his recommendations.

Dr Goel is a very good Ophthalmologist. He has treated my family for more than ten years. His medical knowledge was instrumental in treating a medical eye condition that other MD's had failed to treat or recognize. He is friendly, listens, explains treatment and/or care. You won't go wrong in his care!!

Dr. Goel is not personable. He asks the same tired questions every visit. He does not take the time to consider what the patient is asking for, he just give them the same treatment they received last time. He should work on active listening.

My exams and appointments all went well. However, Dr. Goel's office gave me an invalid prescription for eye glasses - it could only be used in his office. I prefer to purchase my eyeglasses at Costco - and have had excellent service there for years - but my Rx did not conform to state requirements. So I had to call the office to get another prescription which meant a delay in ordering my glasses. I am disappointed at this attempt to limit my choice of where to purchase eye glasses.

I would not recommend Regional Eye Associated to anyone because they least bother your time, waiting time may be more than hour and half and staff will provide you rude response when you ask any question.
