mocks people in pain and movement disorders.
One of the first things he said to me while I was communicating to him what my therapist was telling me about my mental health, he stopped me and said she 'doesn't know anything' when I was trying to elaborate of the decade of therapy I have had and the conclusions that were made. I told him that was disrespectful, and he then continued to tell me that it was my fault for being feeling disrespectful. He said he didn't care, and he could be disrespectful if he wanted. I can't write an exact quote because of the profanity filter. He told this to me at least 5 times. He then mocked my movement disorder and my complaints about the pain I'm in every day. He insisted to continue with gaslighting about trauma and my mental health. He apparently knows more that the psychologists and psychiatrists, but he doesn't really. I think they would say they would call his behavior is unprofessional and ego driven. I had to have my sister drive us 1.5 hours though a blizzard to see him.

Excellent!!
Dr Sam helped our daughter reduce her medicine resistant seizures drastically. He is great listener and wonderful about explaining things so we AND our daughter can understand. Recently we have been trying, unsuccessfully, to find a specialist for her newfound POTS diagnosis. He is also going out of his way to help in any way he can with her even though he doesn’t specialize in autonomic dysfunction.
