Do not go to this doctor for weight loss
Dr. Tannous rushed my appointment (in and out within 5-8 minutes). I was there to discuss my use of medication for weight loss. I have lost 10lbs. but she was not happy with this, saying most lose 15 at the point I am. This completely disheartened me, as I have been unable to lose weight AT ALL. Next, her recommendations were to only eat twice daily, avoid 'colorful' vegetables like carrots, and to cut all carbs. This goes directly against the most updated information about weight loss and instills unhealthy diet habits. She was not interested in me as a patient, as she never addressed my side effects nor asked about my lifestyle. She simply said I didn't lose enough weight, upped my dosage, and left.

Please do not even go to this doctor . She is not review pt’s chart before she sees you. This is the first time I had annual exam with her. I asked her if she can do my pap-smears she said I should go to my OBGyn ‘cause She did not know when I had last papsmear Then I try to make appt with OBGn but she can’t see me yet. So I contacted Dr Tannous , her MA Josue said that I have hysterectomy so papsmear is d/c . Oh my god I was shock, I could not believe that they looked at wrong info. I don’t know where they get that info. This is big error for health care professioner. I wish someone can investigate who entered wrong info. ??

I had a life threatening illness and Dr. Tannous was able to quickly diagnose the illness and refer me to fantastic specialists for followup. She saved my life. Dr. Tannous is very focused and a great listener.
