Awkward, uncomfortable, and highly sus
My children and myself felt incredibly uncomfortable at our appointments with Dr. Ayo for a number of reasons which I will not go into details about as I would prefer to remain as anonymous as possible. It felt as if she and her staff were trying make us feel embarrassed and humiliated. She gave me confusing, conflicting, and incorrect information about the HPV vaccine for my children. Her nurse spoke entirely untrue facts about the COVID-19 vaccinations to me, '...those were found to be unsafe and no one should be getting them anymore.' Perhaps they should check with the CDC, instead of the idiots in our government who know nothing about medicine or science. I would never recommend this doctor to anyone for any reason.

Cold attitudes towards me from this off
I see from the reviews that this Dr picks and chooses whom they will treat consistently. I came to this Dr seeking help understanding and treating severe symptoms that were impacting my life. I ended up having to find a different Dr. The positive reviews I see on here seem alien and strange compared to my experience. It seems like a completely different place to some people. I hope to be able to help even one person avoid the wasted time, money and hurt feelings that I received from this practice. I think I was treated callously. She does not deserve the number of stars she currently has based on my experience with her.

Rude and Unprofessional, at best.
On 10/11/2022 I visited Family Health Center, with a complaint of low blood sugar, and critical drops to less than 50. I was seen by the Physician's Assistant, and she promptly ordered a menagerie of lab work to try and get to the bottom of the issue. The nurse, Amber, came in, and took my blood. I asked her how long it would take to have the results. She told me, "No more than a week, but probably by Friday." I left and did not call back until that Friday. I called on Friday afternoon, and Amber called me back later that day. "The labs are not back yet, I told you one week." I agreed and apologized for bothering her, and she then hung the phone up. I called back on Wednesday, which was a full week since the blood drawing. They then told me they still did not have them. I waited until the following Friday morning, 10/21/2022, to call back. When she picked up the phone, she began to scream into the phone, "I DO NOT HAVE YOUR LABS. IF YOU DON'T LIKE THAT, CALL THE LAB YOURSELF." After

Don’t dare be a few minutes late
I switched health insurance just to see this Dr after the raving reviews and speaking with the lady in billing. I needed a Dr that would listen have compassion and understanding, this really seemed like the place. I made an appointment for two weeks out, didn’t get a call the night before due to a typo and so had to rush to find a ride. My fiancé ended up taking off work to take me since I can’t drive due to a medical issue that we still don’t know what it is. We came from Morristown an hour away, there was a train and an accident so we ended up being late about 15 minutes, not a soul in the waiting room. We were told she would take us back shortly and after about 5 minutes told nope we need a new appointment because they didn’t realize we were late. Obviously they weren’t in a time crunch if they didn’t notice we were late and nobody in the office. Would not reason with me or make any exceptions or compromise. This is the attitude of a business not a caring or compassionate Dr

I started seeing Dr. Ayo over 5 years ago at the old office she was wonderful! I always felt like she had time for me, and she really cared. Now to see her I would have to pay a premium fee in addition to my co-pay. This wasn't possible for me. So I've been seeing Lindsy, my experience has NOT been good. Not only has she been rude to me but failed to make sure I got test results, and that they were sent to a specialist. It breaks my ?? but I cannot continue this way. I'm looking for new office

In the years since I have started seeing Dr. Ayo, I have gotten married and had children, some of whom have severe health issues. She has been there every step of the way, always available and reassuring when I have been scared and overwhelmed. She has helped me with my own health issues with the same level of care. Since her switch to concierge medicine, it has been wonderful to be able to ask her questions easily on weekends when needed, and she has never seemed inconvienienced. We love her.

Years ago Raye-Anne was a good doctor. Lately? Worst doctor on my medical team. She always overbooks because money is her #1 care. appointments take hours , meaning you wait hours and see her for a few minutes. She doesn’t do anything herself besides treat minor colds, etc, for everything else she refers you out. She has no sense of urgency with those referrals either, always months out. Save your time and see a dr who cares about you first and money much later.

My family has been seeing Dr ayo for about 6 years. Was always available but with some wait time. Since her change in her practice to a much smaller patient base, it is extremely easy for all of us to get to see her. I'm very pleased that my college aged daughter has access to her office almost immediately. Dr. ayo and her staff know our needs and have always been extremely helpful in dealing with our medical needs. It is very easy to deal with her office in this new form of medical practice.

Dr. Ayo is more concerned about her looks and other people's looks than their health. It takes hours to see her and all she does is refer you to a specialist because she has no real knowledge herself. You can't even get an xray. If you want to wait 2 hours to see a doctor for 5 minutes that's only going to send you somewhere else, then by all means wait a few months to get in to see this lady.

Dr Ayo and her staff have been wonderful to work with. I'm a difficult patient and know when I'm not likely to follow through with a possible solution. Dr Ayo worked with me to help me find an approach that I was able to follow through with and make the progress necessary to get where I needed to be. She listened and to me and that is very important!

Dr. Raye-Anne Ayo is simply the best. She is knowledgeable, caring, compassionate, and seems to command a high expectation that her office staff aspires to her high standards as well. Dr. Ayo came highly recommended to my wife and me, and we have yet to be disappointed with our decision to choose her as our family physician. If you are looking for a new physician, you can go no higher than Dr. Ayo.

We did extensive research to find the best doctor to meet our family's needs. As a healthcare professional myself, my standards are very high. Thankfully we found Dr. Ayo and my expectations were more than exceeded. Dr. Ayo is a gifted physician with impeccable credentials. She is warm and approachable, but most importantly is an excellent diagnostician. Office visits are highly focused and are never rushed. She is transitioning to membership model and we signed up immediately. SHE IS WORTH IT!

I found Dr. Ayo listed as one of Knoxville's top docs, but one visit was too much for me. The office staff wouldn't take my testing paperwork in advance, the nurse was frazzled as she had no heads up, I was the 1st appt. and there for 2 hours. Dr. Ayo was unimpressive, she had nothing to add to my situation. The specialist appt. they made was two months out, I was able to call myself and get in 5 weeks earlier. No one in that office advocated for me at all, save your time and go elsewhere.
