6 Months after surgery and seeing AMAZING results
Today marks my 1 year anniversary since my arthritis got so bad that I ended up needing surgery. The first 6 months were a nightmare: insurance issues, several doctors, confusing diagnoses, knee injections, and pain. A LOT of pain. I was finally sent to Dr. Kenny after navigating the whole system and I will forever be thankful for having found him. He looked at my x-rays, got me a MRI, immediately diagnosed me with patellofemoral osteoarthritis, and we discussed the possibility of surgery without wasting any more time. To give you an idea: I came to him emotionally broken, unable to walk without crutches, and in absolute pain. Six months forward, I am walking again by myself and I have been able to go to the gym for the last three months. During surgery, he explained everything that would happen, and after surgery, he was walked w/me through the entire process until this morning when I was finally allowed to "resume life as normal." Words will be enough to express how thankful I am!

I saw Dr. Kenney a year and a half ago when I ruptured my Achilles tendon at 23. Following an MRI he sat me down and clearly discussed my options (surgical/non-surgical) with a preference toward non-surgical in my case. When an orthopedic surgeon and assistant professor at one of the top orthopedic programs in the country advises against surgery that's a pretty easy call to make. With his assurances and the help of the exceptional rehabilitation program and staff (Dr. Santer) I was back on my feet quickly and have since returned to the same activity level I had before the injury.

Dr kenny is not the doctor you want! I went to see him regarding pain in my leg and he flat out told me he didn't know what it is, I asked if I can have further testing and he flat out told me he would not order me any test and went on to tell me that the pain is probably due to old age and sent me on my way.( by the way I am 49) he showed a true discard and I am strongly suggesting that if you want a good doctor dont go to him!

Do not go to this doctor! Went to him for joint pain at which point he recommended physical therapy which my insurance authorized. After a month of PT, the therapist recommended a few more sessions. I scheduled a follow up visit with the doctor so that he could request an additional authorization for continued PT. My insurance denied the new authorization stating that he had submitted it incorrectly. When I contacted his office to rectify the situation, he flat out refused to help me. I only spoke to the secretary who was rude and stated that he had excused me from PT, which is something that he never told me. I was stuck fighting my insurance on my own. I was lucky that I contacted my insurance ahead of time and somebody on their end told me I would be covered, so I was able to get the issue resolved on the basis of a misquote but it took 5 months. The dr single-handedly caused me a lot of grief for reasons unknown to me. Stay away! As far as I’m concerned, he is Mister Kenny!
