I saw Dr. wittstadt for my wrist/thumb and only because he was 5 minutes from my office location. I had no idea who or what to expect. We decided to have surgery on my wrist (cmc arthroplasty), best decision ever. He did a fantastic job. 6 months later, my thumb is back to normal, barely any pain after surgery, missed 1 day of work. And NO scars. He did a fantastic job, highly recommend him. Thanks Doctor. Dana

Dr. Wittstadt is a fantastic doctor, and I highly recommend him to anyone with hand, wrist. or finger problems. I have been going to Dr. Wittstadt for years, and have always been pleased. He has a calm and comforting manner. He is gentle and his pain shots are always given in a compassionate manner. He has operated on me many many times, and I have always been pleased with the results. He has kept me out of pain and even replaced my index finger knuckle. He is absolutely wonderful!

Dr. Wittstadt had performed 3 procedures on my left arm, and one on my right. I found him after ruling out several other hand specialists in Washington, DC. He is the only reason I'm still able to play music, I was a professional when I was young. I drive 40 miles to see him, because he's worth it. I've sent several musician friends to him. I cannot imagine a better doctor for my hands.

Excellent staff who were professional and caring. Dr Wittstadt was exactly what I would want or expect in a surgeon. He explained exactly what he thought was needed and why, the n answered all my questions andwas patient and clear. He was exactly the same before and after surgery. I never felt rushed at any time. I would highly recommend him, his staff and the staff at Union memorial !
