I’m an active senior just retired, I mention this as I have seen many doctors over the years-Dr Zimmerman’s communication are the best I have ever seen-he is direct, honest, friendly, n takes into account your “life situation”. I’d recommend as highly as a rating can go.

NOT SATISFIED WITH THE OFFICE STAFF
I've been seeing Dr. Zimmerman for over 5 years now and have referred 5 patients in the past, however; due to my recent experiences and his assistant consistently dropping the ball regarding an urgent medical issue pertaining to my husband which is delaying correcting his health along with causing issues regarding his employment is sad, I will never refer anyone else to this practice. The office staff is RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL & NONCHALANT regarding patient care....They're in the wrong business!!! You all are daily dealing with people lives and all I'm hearing lately is we're short staffed so you need to do this or that yourself Being understaffed is an understatement...NON CARING and INAPPROPRIATE staff for HEALTHCARE is, Unfortunately more like it. It really breaks my heart that you have individuals working in healthcare with attitudes like theirs, so misfortunate for the PATIENTS and not good for the provider either....

Great doc, lousy staff.
I have been seeing Dr Z for years. Great doctor, caring, takes time without rushing. Unfortunately the staff is horrible. Even though I had a telephonic visit, had labs ordered and completed, the next time I called for a RX, they told me unless I come in and physically see him, (during the pandemic) they would not even TELL HIM I was asking for a Rx! When do receptionists make medical decisions? Just called for a Rx, saw him four months ago in the office, and they say I have to make another appointment. It’s so sad he will lose patients because of the staff.

I am saddened to be leaving this, but feel I must. I have been a patient of Dr. Zimmerman for years. Always pleasant & helpful. I always felt that my health was a priority until recently that is. I take an anti-depressant. I receive 90 day refills for 1 yr, then see him to renew it. I was just in to see him, it was never discussed, never brought up about my script expiring. I went to the pharmacy to pick up my script only to be told that it has expired. I know that I need to see him in order to get my script refilled, however, work will not allow it at least not for the next 2 weeks due to an outage. I will now be without my medication. Stopping abruptly is not something you can do with this med. Not taking it for 3 days I feel extreme side affects. I cannot begin to imagine what 2 weeks without will do. I would think/hope this would be understood and to give me the meds for 2 weeks until I can come in. I was told no. This is disheartening & inhumane. Sadly I will be seeking a new GP

I have seen Dr Zimmerman for years. The first question is always, how are you doing and how can I help, I am 60 years old and he takes his time to listen. After having tests done the doctor has always called to go over them with me. Great Doctor

Doctor was friendly, but, no hand washing nor gloves. The office staff needs to be replaced. They were rude.

You won’t find a better doctor! He gives each patient his full attention, if he doesn’t have the answers he’s researching things late at night. I know this personally as a patient and a nurse. When my life was in serious jeopardy and no other doctor could figure out how to treat & save me, a phone call to Dr Zimmerman and he would figure out how to treat my illnesses.

Takes time with his patients, caring attitude BUT.. for elderly patients he is not very proactive. Had to insist on X-ray for my Dad, X-ray then he ordered CT scan, had to bug office 2 wks each time for results. So 1 1/2 months later-tumor. Results would not have changed but the lack of promptness and caring was horrible. His office staff HORRIBLE-hold every time 10-15 m. Excuse they gave me re: results-staff on vacation. Im a nurse-worst office ever dealt with!!! All of that should've been 2 w
