P.O.S. Provider
This woman need treatment. She ditches her practice(s) of primary care for greener pastures. My wife was dumped by her without warning in Vancouver, WA. Six months later she shows up at the VA in Portland, OR as my new PCP! Two years later she quits without notice. Both of us had to scramble for refills and referrals that were missing.

I have been seeing Dr. Abney for 5 years and highly recommended her. I recently attempted to schedule an appointment with here only to find I couldn't and found out ON THE INTERNET that she had left - no notification from the office that she was leaving...nothing! Patient portal still shows her as my PCP and allows me to attempt to schedule an appointment until I reach the point to schedule a time, which then prompts me to call. Shameful how this was handled and now left with trying to find a doc who accepts new patients!!

I had my last visit with her not knowing she was leaving the practice. I see her once a year to get my prescriptions renewed. After my visit, after she is gone, I find out she did not renew any of my prescriptions! Now I a scrambling to find a new provider and get my prescriptions renewed. This is so wrong!!

Initial visit with Dr. Abney today; she had reviewed prior chart info and was well prepared to discuss my health status and needs. Dr. Abney is friendly, professional, and took the time to review and discuss all of my concerns. I’m grateful that she is willing to have me in her panel of patients, and I look forward to seeing her as my primary physician in yrs to come.

Dr Abney never makes me feel like I’m taking up too much of her time. She answers my questions in verbiage that I understand, and she’s one of the best docs I’ve ever had. And at 68, that’s a few!!

Dr. Abney is my doctor, my friend and my protector. She listens patiently to everything I have to say, remembers my particulars and never rushes me, listening to all I have to say. Always a cheerful smile, comments that she truly understands what I am going through and ALWAYS makes me feel like she has nothing else to do but concentrate on my particular reason for seeing her.
