Dr Belsom is a great listener and gives honest information pertaining to my health. We talk about my current plan and how I’m doing. I like that she talks to me like a person and not a case.

I’ve been seeing Rebecca Belsom for several years. She runs hot and cold with her demeanor towards me. She actually has told me I have the worst possible case of one of my autoimmune diseases and she is treating me with infusions. She can be dismissive and curt at times. I love her nurse though. Erin is amazing.

I left quite frustrated & more depressed than when I started. I too felt that Dr Belsom didn't have interest in helping me. I spent time trying to interpret test results myself on MyChart, and then sent my concerns & follow up questions via email. That was enough to prompt them to contact me to schedule a 2nd visit, yet it was almost worse than the 1st! She seemed irritated that I dare question "that extremely thorough" Lupus panel that came back negative. When its fairly common knowledge as to how difficult Lupus can be to diagnose. Not only did she not listen to the symptoms I was trying to explain, but also I felt that she almost didn't even believe me. After leaving in tears, I went home & started on some hard research of my own. I was amazed at the knowledge out there that she didn't seem to have. Anyone that is faced with making a rheumatologist appt. is someone who's most often in a low place-physically &mentally-and I just feel her lack of attention & interest conflict her job

I found Dr. Belsom to be a very compassionate rheumatologist. She listened to me, went over my history, performed a physical and talked to me about my diagnosis, living with my diagnosis and solutions. Highly recommend.

I was very disappointed in my encounter with Rebecca Belsom. This woman is unprofessional, and doesn't appear to be very interested in helping people. Based upon a very brief examination which involved listening to my heart and poking on a few areas of my body, along with no blood tests, decided, that my previous Rheumatologist who has been practicing for nearly 30 years and teaches in medical schools gave my the wrong diagnoses. Doctor Belsom told me that I did not have the disease.

Did not even review my medical history and years of complaints and treatments I had already received. A lupus diagnosis is difficult yet years of records would probably help with that. I was completely dismissed and now back to square one - did not even tell me where to go or what to do, just left me hanging. I waited months to get in and now completely stuck and my insurance will start over again when I had already met my deductible and everything. Very poor service.
