Excellent care!
I was referred to Dr. B-D for a fairly rare cancer. She took a lot amount of time with me, explained the cancer, answered my questions, and made me feel as if I mattered, that my survival mattered. Two years in and my care has been excellent.

I lived 1 1/2 hers away. Sat on waiting over 2 hrs in room another 1/2 hr. I was promised by Dr I would be able to have my treatments close to my home repeatedly. This is HUGE for me yet I had 2 argue with nurse & schedule fro peoria hospital about it. After a week of calls to everyone I could think of part of it had been moved near me. I"m unsure at this point if I'll be able to have everything because of distance. No one in this facility listens!! Im desperately trying to find a new dr

Got to the office at 1p and checked in. Had and appointment set at 1:30pm. Didn’t get called back till 2:15p. It’s now going on 3p and I am still sitting in the room waiting on the doctor. Now mind you I also had an hour and a half drive to get here (that’s one way). So I’m glad I got a babysitter for the day because for 1 doctors appointment I had to leave by 10am and won’t get home till at least 5pm. And this is for a regular exam.

A robotic hysterectomy was done in '18. At 1 year check up, a CATSCAN was scheduled and done in 10/19. They never notified us that it came back suspicious. We found out 3 months later! After a PETSCAN could not be completed, I called to ask if another test should be done. I was put off with excuses (main one was they were waiting for the doctor to decide which one) which eventually ended in no replies at all. So...no notification of a cancer was done, no reply to phone calls, the fact that most visits were done with an assistant because the doctor was busy (even though we had an appointment with Dr.), not to mention very bad time management in making patients wait a l-o-n-g time...all adds up to my low rating.

Waited for months to get an appointment with Dr. Byler Dann who I was referred to. Finally got one scheduled then they called back a few weeks later and said since I'm not a "priority" with a cancer diagnosis just pre-cancerous cells that they needed to move my appointment to a later date. I was ok with this initially. Got another call stating that they needed to move my appointment again as the doctor was not available that day. Got a call today saying my appointment has been canceled because

Dr. Byler Dann is an excellent Gynecological Oncologist! She is also a talented surgeon! I have the utmost confidence in her as a physician. Unfortunately her clinic is very poor at scheduling appointments with wait times up to 4 hours! This is unacceptable in my opinion especially when my actual time with her face-to-face was 10 minutes. The intake employee is poor at taking an accurate blood pressure and is not concerned about it...... my question is why bother taking it at all!?

To begin we waited 2 hours and then we both left in tears. Not for what they said but how they treated us! They tried to bully us into making an appointment after we told them we wanted to think and wait. The closer tried to take my wife aside and I had to pull her out of the office. Dr. Byler Dann is a callous robot and has the bedside manner of a bison. I tried several times to ask questions and I was TALKED OVER and IGNORED. Just don't. There are other doctors.

I think her knowledge is adequate, but she are her associate will bully you and belittle you if you even hesitate to do what they suggest. Just because I had questions and wanted time to think, I was nothing short of yelled at regarding treatment for a suspicion (not even confirmation) of cervical cancer. I will NEVER go there again.
