Not a good experience
I have a lot of anxiety going to the doctor and I recently moved to the area from out of state so I needed a new primary care doctor! I was hopeful this experience would be positive. It was not! To begin, the staff called my first name and I went back! After a brief discussion and some very confusing questions that did not apply to me, I figured out that they were confusing me with another patient! After clearing up the confusion, I finally saw the doctor who walked into the room and didn’t even look me in the eye. She proceeded to click through all the questions on the computer. When I tried to give her some background information about me and attempt to discuss some of my concerns, she just continued on and totally dismissed my concerns! My anxiety was through the roof and I was practically shaking by the time the appointment was overI can’t bring myself to return to this office!

I saw Dr. Fredrick for the first time for a regular physical. She was extremely dismissive and rushed during the appointment, and afterwards did not provide a thorough review on my blood results. Anxiety and depression – I mentioned my struggles with anxiety and depression and said I was considering meds, but wanted more info to help make my decision. She gave two med options, and when I asked her the difference, she said "well they're 2 different chemicals." I reworded my question, and she continued to dismiss. Infertility concerns – I told her my husband and I have been struggling to conceive for over a year, with one chemical pregnancy 2 months before my appointment. She displayed very little empathy, and did not discuss any options for infertility testing. Blood results – She replied "labs are normal" on my test results. However, there were a couple slightly elevated results. When I messaged her about them, she was dismissive and rude, as if offended I questioned her.

Declining concern in care.
I’ve been seeing her for many years but the past few years I have felt a continued decline in care. Rushed. Everything is referred to someone else. No time to discussed concerns or told to schedule another appointment to discuss concerns. I really want to switch to Cleveland Clinic. I think my heath is suffering here.

Not cared for
Felt dismissed and unheard. Tried to see another provider in her office and she wouldn’t let me. Told me it was “unprofessional” to let me see another provider in the same office.

Poor Bedside Manner + Office Logistics Challenges
I thought I was going to love Dr. Fredrick based on recommendations but she was very dismissive of my concerns about my anxiety and fatigue. I did not feel she was thorough in reviewing blood test results that came back - I flagged something that she didn't. And for me to voice my concerns about my anxiety levels and have it dismissed was really a blow to my emotions. Then, this is just about the office in general, Dr. Fredrick would not necessarily have specific involvement in these following things: I went in for suspected kidney stones and my urine sample was supposed to be sent for overnight culture. It was accidentally dumped out and I never received the results. Nobody told me this or followed up until I had to call 4 days later to chase down the answer myself. There have also been times where I schedule an appt for a specific time and then get an email it is for a different time, then have to call to straighten out the schedule. Disorganized staff.

I've been going to Dr. Fredrick for ten years now. I followed her from Strongsville to Rocky River. She is always pleasant and takes the time to actually listen to what I have to say. I've never had an issue making a appointment and the staff is always pleasant.

Dr. Fredrick is a great listener & never makes me feel rushed. I also love that she tries to find the root cause of some of my illnesses, rather than throwing medication at me to treat the symptom only.

Dr. Frederick is efficient, compassionate and most importantly good. She found a heart condition in my husband when he went in randomly for an earache. I see her and recommend her to family and friends constantly.

I told this doctor I went to urgent care 2 weeks ago for an rx and was treated for another condition 3 months ago. I wish I would've said the actual dates. The difference between 10 days and 14 days and 3 months instead of 2 (@ the end of month) was enough for this doctor to say I lied to her. She sent me on my way and told me not to come back because i wasn't honest with her. She obviously just didn't want to treat me. Might be ok for a cold, but I'd go to a professional for mental health.
