Dr. Rebecca Warkol, MD

Dr. Warkol is amazing! She really, really listens to you and I emphasize this because being a woman of color, I have experienced seeing providers who don't take my concerns seriously. She was recommended to me by a colleague of mine and it was a great decision to switch to having her as my primary care provider. What I really appreciate about her is if she doesn't know the answer to what may be going on with me when it comes to a particular problem, she tries her best to refer me to a specialist who may be able to assist further instead of giving me some general answer or chalking it off to nothing to a problem. I also appreciate that whenever I do follow up with her, she is very considerate in reviewing my chart or she just has great memory on my prior concerns(even if a specialist is handling it) and will ask about how I'm doing . I have made it a point to refer to her from people in my personal life to my professional environment. We need more providers like her who show concern and really listen. I also appreciate her staff immensely. They are so nice and welcoming and they do their best to accommodate you when it comes to scheduling. Amazing physician and staff.

I've been a patient for 6 years and Dr Warkol is very thorough and knowledgeable. She discovered irregularities in my bloodwork which led to a Celiac diagnosis I would never have known about and I'm so grateful. The office is convenient with a friendly staff. I send my friends and family to her.

Needed a new GP when we moved here and she was highly recommended. I had a different experience though. To me, she was abrasive and condescending. When discussing whether or not to get a certain test, and I inquired about some well-documented evidence about its (lack of) efficacy, instead of presenting me with research, she just said, "You'll find that all your peers here in Greenwich are getting it."

I credit Dr. Warkol with saving my husband's life, in part because she is all of these things, and yes, she is oh, so smart! She leaves no stone unturned, and she knows where these stones are buried. Need I say more?

I had a few bad experiences with this doctor. She always asks you to see a specialist when she cannot diagnose what you have. I went to see the ORL to hear that I just had dry skin in my ear. I received some blood tests showing that I was pre-diabetic...she said: don’t worry about it. She also prescribed a medication with bad side effects . There are other incidents but I’d rather not go into detail. I finally had to change doctors.

Dr Warkol always listens, analyzes and uses thoughtful consideration . She is superb!

Dr. Warkol is a terrific doctor. She is talented, smart, insightful and personable. Not only is she a great doctor, but she also really cares about her patients. She takes the time to understand my issues and concerns, and then helps me be the best medicly that I can be. I see many doctors because of a complicated medical condition, but Dr. Warkol is the one who pulls it all together for me. I trust her completely.

Excellent. I'm very happy with the care that Dr. Warkol has provided. She sees patients on time; she is not adverse to spending time with them, to listen carefully, and to respond professionally and with a personal touch.

Dr. Warkol is an excellent doctor. She is great at diagnosing problems and knows how to solve the medical problems that I was having. She found a lump in my neck and sent me for an ultrasound and it turned out to be thyroid cancer. She knew who to send me to and she kept checking in with me to see if I had any other questions or concerns. I can't recommend her enough.
