i could not be more pleased with my experience with Dr Pillai. Have been seeing her for past 5 yrs. Knows her stuff . Great staff also.

Got pneumonia, ambulance to the ER just before Christmas. After being taken to a room, all the nurses and everyone really prepared me and started their job to heal me. Dr. Pillai arrived early next morning ,checked the charts and reassured me that everything will be alright. Told me the plan of action and medications I'd be on. The nurses and other staff told me Dr. Pillai was the best. She's been my doctor for 2 years but first time hospital. She has a calm about her and shows that she really cares and listens to you. I have great respect for her , even when I have a different opinion. She explains why and how it will benefit me most. She' a true doctor and a gift to her patients.

Regrettably, my experiences with Dr. Pillai and her team were far from pleasant. Dr. Pillai's demeanor was condescending and sarcastic, which greatly undermined my confidence in her care. Additionally, her nurse needlessly frightened me with unrelated scenarios, causing unnecessary anxiety. Furthermore, despite repeatedly requesting my chest scan results, I was unable to obtain them from Dr. Pillai's office. This lack of responsiveness and failure to provide crucial medical information added to my dissatisfaction with the overall experience

I visited Dr. Pillai about a year ago. This was my initial visit with her. As I was explaining my symptoms to her, and what lead to my visit, suddenly she raised her voice to me. I was shocked! I have never had a doctor to do that before. I wanted to leave, immediately, but stayed to take a test. After the test, she came back in her office, calling me sweetie (am I five years old?). At that point, I knew that this would be the first, as well as, last visit with her. She is so unprofessional! She may have gotten the necessary degrees, in order to become a doctor, but she is not a very nice person.

She gave a diagnosis to my problem that others could not. Very excellent visit with a good doctor

Brought up multiple concerns to Dr. Pillai and asked her about what caused them. Her response: "how would I know what caused it? I'm not you." How rude! What's the point of going to the doctor if the doctor not only dismisses the pain and won't try to understand it beyond a lay person does, but is also condescending. She kept insisting it was just acid reflux and nothing more. Left and found a good doctor that cared and did multiple lab tests. Turns out to be a rare lung disease :(

I found Regina Pillai after being dissatisfied with another pulmonary doctor a couple of years ago, and I have hit the jackpot! Every single employee that I encounter from front desk to the interns, etc are so very nice it almost made me suspicious (Ha!) She greets me with "good morning, beautiful." She is extremely focused on ME and what I need, and I truly feel like the most important person in the room. She also asks (more than once) what SHE can do to help ME; it is obvious that her time spent with me is focused and not distracted. She also won't send me for any unnecessary tests and explains my results in easy to understand (tell it like it is) language. The office building she is in could certainly use a few dozen more parking spaces.

My dad is 89 years old and very particular about doctors. He couldn’t compliment her enough. She took the time as if he was her only patient. You can tell she truly cares about her patients. I could not be with him so my husband took him and she called me to see if I had anything I would like to share with her for her to know more in depth what was going on with his health as this was his first visit. She is amazing!! The parking is the only downside to this visit.

Dr. Pillai was highly recommended by family friends when we learned that my Dad was diagnosed with Pulmonary Fibrosis. Dr Pillai literally embraced our Dad and his condition at his first appointment. She has been a true Godsend and initiated a very thorough and successful treatment plan along with compassionate and positive guidance. Dr Pillai truly cares that her patients and their loved ones clearly understand what they can expect and provides information in the kindest manner. She even acknowledged that Dads improvement was a blessing and that she would continue to pray for him. I’m so grateful our friends told us about Dr Pillai~She is a blessing as well.*

Dr. Pallai is a wonderful caring physician. She has accomplished more than any other pulmonary doctor. I am lucky to have found her.

Dr. Pillai is not only a wonderful very knowledgeable pulmonologist she is very caring & easy to relate to. Feel so fortunate to have her as my doctor.

Dr. Pillai and staff and true professionals. She takes the time to listen to you and asks thoughtful questions. You never feel rushed in her exam room. I would recommend Dr. Pillai and staff to everyone.

Dr. Pillai is a true professional, competent, and compassionate physician. She spends more than a sufficient amount of time with a patient during a visit and analyzes the situation thoroughly before considering any prescriptive or invasive action. Her follow-up with a patient is also excellent. I highly recommend her services as a pulmonologist.

I love Dr. Regina Pillai. She is very knowledgeable and very personable. She listened to all my concerns and answered all my questions. I came in with Covid 19 pneumonia after an 8 day hospital stay she had me off of oxygen within 2 weeks.

she treats you like a family member. and she is wonderful and always friendly and has a very open and honest demeanor. She's one of my favorite doctors and me and the wife have never regreted having changed to her and her group
