It’s hard to find good doctors in Monterey and if you have Medi-cal then you get the bottom of the barrel and this is the case here. Dr Sosa is not at all personable. She doesn’t know how to talk to children make them feel comfortable. She has no business working with people much less children. She may have possibly been a better vet… this isn’t coming from someone who doesn’t know what good medical care is. I was a medical assistant for Dr Steven Zelko in Santa Barbara Ca for 10 yrs and many other exceptional doctors at Sanford and beyond. Dr Renee Sosa isn’t it.

Dr. Sosa is my children's primary care physician.
We have seen Dr. Sosa many times. She is caring and careful. It is rare these days for a Dr to give you the means to contact them when needed. She did so. She currently works for Seaside family clinic. I will be one of the patients that move with her, should she ever switch to private practice.
