Seen me through some rough stuff!
I have hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and Dr. Garibay has seen me through many injuries, surgeries, tests and has listened to me and taken me seriously every step of the way. I'm currently in the best health of my life. I was hoping to see him until he retired, but he's moving and I'm sad to see him go. Shed actual tears. I hope my next doc is as wonderful as he has been.

Inaccurate notes, blames everything on anxiety.
Dr Garibey is friendly and personable. At first he seemed as if he was listening and hearing me, but at some point he tagged me as having anxiety. After that, it didn't matter what my concern was, he would chalk it up to anxiety. While I was dealing with active cancer, my coworkers at work refused to mask. I asked him for a note recommending I work from home, he told me that I needed to take that up with my employer and prescribed anti anxiety medications. He documented in my notes that I was there for anxiety. I made an appointment with him specifically to discuss specific tests that I wanted done on my biopsy samples, which my insurance wouldn't cover and I agreed to cover out of pocket. Not only did he not order them, he never made any notes in my chart! He wrote down I was there for another reason. I went in with chest tightness and my feet and ankles swollen so big I couldn't wear my regular shoes. Refused to do an EKG or any eval. Wrote down a different reason for the visit.

Dr Garibay is very awkward in general. That is fine I can deal with that. However, he has not once but twice miscalculated the dosage of antibiotics for my infant. The most recent time calculating the dose for more than 20 lbs more than my baby should be given. Thank goodness the pharmacy double checks. He has no idea what he is doing.
