Pain is gone!
In 2012, Dr. Bosita performed a 360 degree lumbar fusion on me. The results were the complete elimination of the pain coming from that area. Now, 12 years later, a different lumbar section has deteriorated, causing pain. After careful consideration and consultation, Dr. Bosita performed an epidural steroid injection. The next day the pain was gone and still is!I've been under the intermittent care of Dr. Bosita for 12 years and highly recommend him as a doctor and surgeon.

Lumbar Fusion
Dr. Bosita has been a lifesaver for me. Very personable. Staff is wonderful! I went through excruciating lumbar pain for about two years. Each year it got worse with time. A previous fusion, from another doctor about 6 years earlier, started to collapse. To my amazement, I had no idea that this could actually happen. Dr. Bosita tried doing the injection as I have previously had Osteomyelitis in the spine. After my second injection it resurfaces. Dr. Bosita indicated that I could never have another injection. Ok, fine. What next? Because by this time, my l4,L5,S1 were bone to bone. I could hear the bones in my back moving. In the mornings, it was so bad, that I literally had to put the bones in place to move around. I never knew about suffering until then. Fast forward, we decided to do the Lumbar Fusion & cage. The surgery went very well. I was astonished at the fact that I knew I was FIXED! as soon as I woke The next morning I was up walking. Walked without walker 1st day home!!

Dr. Bosita is the best.
Dr. Bosita corrected my grade 3 spondylolisthesis condition with an anterior and posterior fusion L4 to L5, L5 to S1. I am female and was 67 yo at the time of surgery. I couldn't be happier with the outcome. It has been just over a year now and everything is going great with my back. I was done with the walker after one week and done with using a cane after two weeks. I followed the restrictions to the letter including no lifting, twisting, bending for three months and I did physical therapy for three months. Immediately after being released by Dr. Bosita after three months, I started back to CrossFit. Of course it was slow, but I continued to improve over time. Dr. Bosita is personable, attentive, and interested in my post-surgery goals. His PA, Morgan Artis, is wonderful, too. She was easy to contact and communicate with. My surgery was done at Medical City Heart and Spine Hospital. I would recommend Dr. Bosita to anyone who needs spine surgery.

Best doctor ever!
Dr Bosita and his staff are amazing! I had to have surgery on my spine and he made me feel positive the entire time! His nurses and PA are amazing! If you’re looking for a doctor, this is the one!

Top-of-the-line surgeon
Dr Rey Bosita And his team are wonderful people. They put me back together after an accident on the job. After a year of not able to feel with my hands, I had surgery And regain touch again you couldn’t ask for a better more qualified doctor than himself and his staff. Morgan his assistant listened and it took patience to zero in on the problem . I feel the rotor recovery might be long But I have hope as I was losing it quickly. The best gift at the holidays that I could ask for!

L5-S1 Discectomy
Dr Bosita worked quickly and went out of his way to make sure the surgery happened asap while in compliance with insurance. He had an entertaining bedside manner and provided great treatment without wasting time. I couldn't walk due to severe pain from the herniation and he still managed to brighten the mood and give full relief with the surgery.

Dr. Bosita repaired 2 bulging discs over 5 years ago. I've had no problems and have resumed all gym and sports activities since the surgery. The recovery time was much faster than I anticipated. Over the course of getting to know Dr. Bosita, my trust grew. He's competent and really enjoyable.I highly recommend him.

It has been some time since my surgery ( January 2023 ) and I'm just getting around to this review, I think Dr. Bosita did a good job with my cervical fusion, however I think there may now be a new issue that we have to discuss, which may be recurrence in another area of the cervical area , staff has been friendly in my case, but scheduling an appointment or trying to get information through the automated system was a challenge prior to surgery, hopefully that has improved.

Cervical Spine Surgery

Severe right-hip pain from herniated lower back
Texas Back Institute has excellent reviews and Dr. Rey Bosito was well qualified within their organization. He has an excellent educational background and reputation. He was always cordial and with a positive "I'll fix it" attitude. In fact he performed 2 laminectomies and one discectromy on me with highly successful pain relief. The staff and physician's assistant were all a very helpful part of the team. I highly recommend Dr. Bosito.

Review of Dr Rey Bosita
Dr Bosita was referred to me after having difficulty getting an appointment with an Ortho doctor in Albuquerque, where I live. I have had terrible pain from a sciatic nerve in my right side for several years. I was able to see Dr Bosita 3 days after I called for an appointment. He diagnosed my problem and 2 months later he did a 360 Disc Infusion in Plano at the Texas Back Institute. My recovery went very well. He is so personable, listened to my concerns, never rushed our appointments, and eased my fears of surgery. He has a caring, competent staff. One in particular, his PA, Morgan is exceptional. She cares about her patients, always responds quickly to phone calls, is professional, yet so very personable. She will alway be very special to me. I live 12 hours from Dr Bosita but will never use another Ortho surgeon if I have a need in the future. He’s the Absolute Best!

Fantastic Physician and Surgeon
Dr. Bosita is absolutely fantastic. I was in immense pain from a collapsed and herniated disc that I couldn't walk, sleep, or function. Dr. Bosita got me admitted on a Wednesday to see if pain management wound be enough. It wasn't, so he performed a microdiscectomy on me Friday, I was discharged Saturday, and back to work Monday! Understandably, it still took months of rehab to get back to normal but the surgery went great. And Dr. Bosita had a fun yet confident demeanor the whole time.

I worked with Dr. Bosita at the Baylor Scott and White Ambulatory Center in Garland. I had the pleasure of administering sedation to his patients for their injections. He is an amazing technician. Not only a great surgeon but also a great person. Don't hesitate to call on him for help with your spinal issues. If it was'nt for insurance he would be at the top of my list.

Herniated disc fix
I had an herniated disc in my lower back causing constant pain on the right side of my body all the way down to my foot. Dr. Bosita recommended and did a discectomy and I feel like a new person I can stand up straight and walk around with no pain amazing!!!
