I was initially misdiagnosed with thyroid cancer by a facility I now think of as "Nightmare Hospital." They planned to remove my thyroid, supposedly to stop the spread of cancer—something anyone knowledgeable about thyroid diseases would find absurd. Seeking a second opinion, I went to Dr. Reza Nazemi. Dr. Nazemi's expertise immediately stood out. He is confident, compassionate, and incredibly experienced. Unlike Nightmare Hospital, he recommended additional tests to ensure the diagnosis was accurate. Through his diligent care, it became clear that I did not have cancer. Being treated by Dr. Nazemi made me feel heard, safe, and genuinely taken care of for the first time in years. If you are considering Dr. Nazemi, know that you are in excellent hands. His dedication to his patients' wellbeing is unparalleled. Dr. Nazemi, I am profoundly grateful for everything you have done for me. Your dedication and expertise have truly saved my life.

Best Doctor
This review is long overdue. I had post viral thyroiditis which is a rare condition and made it so I couldn't walk 5 feet without getting completely winded. I was so fatigued, I spent 18 hours a day sleeping. He was able to diagnose me in the span of a single conversation and asked me the most detailed questions. For ex, I was born in Russia and he asked me how far my city of birth was from Chernobyl. Cannot thank him enough for saving me from suffering at the hands of less experienced physicians.

I have been seeing Dr. Nazemi for about 2 yrs. He has a warm and gentle disposition. He treats his patients with dignity and you never feel rushed as you if you are on a production line. Even though it is a busy office, I have never waited more than a few minutes to be seen. The staff overall is very professional.

Dr. Nazemi is an excellent doctor. Extremely knowledgeable, very professional, courteous, and well mannered. He takes his time to diagnosis your problem. He helped my wife with her unique thyroid problem. For a month everyone else thought she had flu and gave her antibiotics, with few examinations and questions, Dr Nazemi found out she has a rare bug infecting her thyroid and antibiotics were harmful for her. Thanks to Dr. Nazemi she is well now. He saved my wife, we owe him big time.

Dr. Nazemi is truly one of a kind. He is very knowledgable, and thorough in his patient care. Not only is he an amazing endocrinologist, he has remarkable bed side manors as well. Dr. Nazemi is kind and approachable and takes the time to really educate patients on their condition and prognosis. I would highly recommend him as your doctor!

Dr. Nazemi is beyond great. He has provided amazing care to me from the first day we met and I believe he has saved my life on more than one occasion. His abilities as a diagnostician are second to none that I have ever experienced. His diagnosis have been spot on, he has seen issues that other doctors missed, and his referrals are strictly vetted and have always worked out in my best interests. It sometimes takes a while for new appointments but in the big picture, treatment from this doctor is well worth the wait. I rest easy knowing that I have appointments scheduled with Dr. Nazemi.

Dr. Nazemi is the type of doctor whom you feel like you can really trust, and a genuine human being. He treats you with patience and puts a high degree of care into every patient's case. I have not met a more knowledgable endocrinologist, and I think it stems from the fact that he is extremely passionate about what he does- you can tell from your first visit with him. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a long-term effective treatment plan for any endocrinology-related health issues, which are oftentimes so tricky to treat.

Dr. Nazemi is someone who takes the time to take a history and to listen to you because what you're experiencing is an important clue about what the underlying problems may be. His attention to detail makes his work more effective and is so important, especially when it comes to diagnosis and management of endocrine diseases, such as hypo- or hyperthyroidism, diabetes mellitus or obesity of certain types. Dr. Nazemi is fully present when he is with his patients. He truly cares and is invested in his patient’s well-being which hasn’t been my experience with many doctors. He shows so much compassion for his patient’s and really understands their concerns. He is the best! My family and I have been going to him for years and there is no one else who we trust! He’s the best!

Dr. Nazemi is one of the most kind, good-natured, and honest physicians I’ve had the pleasure of seeing. Los Angeles has no shortage of doctors— we usually have option paralysis trying to find the physician that best fits our needs. What sets Dr. Nazemi from his peers is his love for his patients and his craft; he actually listens to his patients, and seeks to meet their health needs.

I was supposed to have a first appointment with Dr. Nazemi today. His rude receptionist refused to give her name when I introduced myself and asked hers. She also ignored me when I spoke to her except when she pointed out that I didn’t sign the following: “Knowing that I am suffering from a condition requiring medical care, I hereby voluntarily consent to such care encompassing diagnostic procedures and medical treatment by my physician, his/her assistants or his/her consignees as may be necessary in his/her judgement. I acknowledge that no guarantees have been made as to the results of treatments or examination in the hospital.” I told her I did not want to sign it as I want to retain my fundamental right to informed consent . She said Dr. Nazemi would not see anyone who will not sign it. I left. It is extremely unethical to demand a patient sign away their basic rights to be able to get medical care.

Dr. Nazemi was able to regulate my moms blood sugar after one visit. My mom was going to another doctor who had increased the dosage of her glucose medication so high she was having severe adverse reactions. While continuing to have over 200 fasting glucose level. Thank you Dr. Nazemi for staying informed on the newest and most effective treatments for your patients and clearly explaining how it works.

Dr. Nazemi is amazing. Very kind and caring man. I've been his patient for more than a year. He listens very carefully and does an excellent ultrasound on my thyroid. I was going to another doctor before him who gave me wrong info and mislead me with wrong diagnosis. Dr. Nazemi is a life saver and very knowledgable. I can't thank him enough!

I am writing this review after almost a year struggling with myself NOT suing this shameful negligent guy! Sorry my language but I don't wanna sue him since my mom was his patient and she did not want me to open a case eve though I have the strongest case ever against him. Its a second time I am witness of his malpractice. He put my mom for 2 years and half on wrong diabetic medication. I am gonna report him to med board of california and also cedars too. Never choose him!

very untrustworthy and unfriendly office and totally disrespectful and cruel towards the patient. highly recommend to investigate more when you want to make an appointment with this office. they made a mistake and instead of taking responsibility and trying to solve the issue, astonishingly they threatened to call the police on me. I am in a medical profession myself and this office is by far the worst "specialty office" I've been to. sad to see the existence of this sort of medical office.

Dr. Nazemi saw me on time and he did a thorough consultation in his office with relevant questions and backgeound research on me to determine the path of my care. I was then seen timely in the exam room by one of his assistant and within a short period of time, my blood sugar was checked, I had my A1C results and my blood was drawn for the lab, in addition to having a printout of the downloaded blood sugar data from my blood sugar meter. I was then given new medicatioms to make my regimen easier
