Since becoming Northwell Health this practice has forgotten that their patients are people. They have a call center that’s rude and disorganized. I called to schedule a flu shot appointment. I had to wait over a month for the appointment. I showed up for my appointment after leaving work early. I was told my appointment wasn’t in the schedule. The receptionist told me to reschedule. She refused to call the office manager, or ask the doctor. She just wanted me to reschedule for another day, another time. I had already waited over a month. I had already left work early and they were acting as if I had done something wrong. The receptionist just kept telling me to reschedule, asking me to leave. I asked them to speak to the doctor about it they said Dr. Burmeister was busy and wouldn’t see me. After arguing over it further a nurse named Stephanie came out and said “if it’s just a flu shot I’ll do it.” When she walked me back, the doctor was sitting in an office on the computer.

Very caring. Listens thoroughly. Professional but doesn't talk over your head. I wish I could give her more than 5 stars.
