Dr. Rhonda Schneider, MD

In my opinion, Dr. Schneider was not familiar with up-to-date dermatological terms and therapies. Additionally, she advised me to have a small seborrehic keratosis lesion removed from my forehead by a “plastic surgeon.” I found this to be odd since I’ve had similar lesions removed by a dermatologist. I also requested a biopsy of a suspicious spot on the tip of my nose, and that she also referred me to a “plastic surgeon.” In summary, Dr. Schneider does not perform the duties customarily provided by dermatologists; she appears to refer all facial lesions to a plastic surgery practice that does not take insurance. Further, she was not familiar with a newer skin cancer preventative field treatment that involves a combination of 5FU and Calcipotriene. Instead she stated she provides the old-school 5FU treatment, which is much more traumatic, lengthy and not as effective as the newer protocol. Avoid.

she immediately discovered Melanoma on elbow and sent me to surgeon for extraction, after biopsy. never would have guessed but she knew! Her dry skin advice solution was right on.

My daughter had an unusual condition, and Dr. Schneider did an excellent job of honing in on what the problem was, despite the fact that it was during the first weeks of the Coronavirus pandemic, and a confusing set of symptoms. I am grateful that our GP recommended her.
