I was seen by Dr Dakheel the office visit went well the ladies at the front was professional nice friendly..I did have to wait long for the overnight study or to get the results back and when it was time to get the machine he did a rush on it and he didn't have to. He saw that I was upset and my job depends on it and he cared..most doctors would have put my file on a desk to be handle whenever..and thats happen to me plenty times...My experience has been great..I wish it was other doctors who actually care for their patients like Dr Dakheel...thank you

Avoid Dakheel at all costs! I was in urgent need of a new sleep doctor, and Dakheel was the only one with availability in a 50mi radius. I drove an hour to see him. The first thing he said to me was that I live very far away and questioned how can he be sure I'll come see him again. He refused to treat me if I didn't schedule a follow-up right then and there! I obliged out of necessity. On to my reason for the visit - medication management. I simply wanted a refill of a script I'd been on for years (which was not a controlled substance or anything). He initially refused to fill it, seemingly skeptical about my motives. I have narcolepsy, confirmed with an mslt, and that's somehow suspicious? After threatening to not fill the script, i had to kiss his (rear end) just to get him to change his mind. In the end, i left disgusted and with a script that i would later discover was unfillable. It was missing a dosage and total quantity. The other 1 star reviews are completly accurate.

Need Quality Sleep – Jan 27, 2020

Find someone else. Without knowing anything about my medical history, Dr. Dakheel declared that I must have sleep apnea because I am overweight. He then said I needed a sleep study to confirm that. I should have gone running for the exit then, but I decided to give him the benefit of the doubt. I did the sleep study, and was advised that I would be informed of the results. I most certainly was: over my car speakerphone, announced to my passengers, the people standing outside my car, and quite likely to the customers on the other side of the front door of a business, which was about ten feet in front of me, with the door open. They didn’t need to be informed that I had sleep apnea and that I needed to come in and try a device. I informed the person on the phone that my relationship with this practice was over since my rights under HIPAA had been completely ignored and disregarded. I will take my business where HIPAA is respected.

While Dr. Dakheel has a good "bedside manner" and is quite knowledgeable about his areas of specialty, where he fails is in support of his patients after their visit. I have been trying to get an overnight sleep study schedule for over 2 months because Dr. Dakheel does not deem it worth his time to speak directly with the insurance company. I have already received one denial of coverage because of his negligence. Read your plan docs before seeing him. If you might have problems, see another MD.
