I tore my Achilles tendon and Dr. Garcia got me in last minute and did a detailed exam. He explained my options and got me set up with the best care plan. Would definitely recommend his office his staff was also great to work with.

Dr. Garcia treated me for fractures on either side of ankle. He was thorough with his review and analysis and diligent in subsequent follow-up visits. His recommended course of treatment was critical in my ability to overcome the injury within the timeframe he had prescribed. I found him to be extremely professional and respectful of my concerns as a patient. I would not hesitate in assigning Dr. Garcia my highest personal recommendation.

I have seen Dr. Garcia 3 times in the last ~2 months for an issue with my knee. The first visit, he immediately put me at ease with his amazing "bedside" manner. He is very friendly and down to earth in explaining the issues at hand and ways for treatment in a way that is very easy to understand. It is refreshing to find a doctor that is willing to take the time to explain and make his patient comfortable in all aspects. He is definitely an asset for Central Texas Sports Medicine!!

I had three visits for my finger injury to Central Texas Sports medicine. Dr. Garcia was very knowledgeable and explained the expectations straightforwardly.

Saw Dr. Garcia for what I thought was a torn shoulder tendon. Upon X-rays, he told me I had calcific tendinitis in one of my rotator cuff tendons. He recommended a fairly new noninvasive procedure called ultrasound guided barbatage. My other option was surgery. He squeezed me in the next day for the barbatoge procedure and I couldn’t be happier with my results!! He explained everything very well and made me feel very comfortable. The procedure took less than 45 mins and the stabbing pain I had been in subsided within a few hours (albeit I was sore for a few days post procedure). The large calcium deposit that he targeted was broken up and completely gone. By day 7 post procedure, I was lifting my arm over my head, whereas before, I couldn’t even move my arm 2 inches without excruciating pain. I am extremely happy with Dr. Garcia and highly recommend him! His staff were very comforting and professional as well.

Dr. Garcia is excellent. He was very thorough and explained everything throughout the entire process. He was very good about walking me through the healing process and the steps that I should take going forward. I would highly recommend Dr. Garcia for any muscular injuries!

Dr. Garcia was great with my daughter with both of her volleyball injuries. He was patient with explaining in "layman's terms" for us to understand more easily what was going on with her treatment plan.

Dr. Garcia has seen my son for a sports-related hamstring injury for the past 6 months. Each step of the journey for his recovery was made crystal clear, and the time he has spent making sure my son understood his limitations was beyond appreciated-as oftentimes, athletes don’t always know the difference between pushing through an injury & one that needs them to be pulled 100% from activity to fully heal. Hamstrings are tough, and Dr. Garcia spoke to our teen with care, compassion, and the facts. His approach was logical, starting with PT first, then adding in inflammation reduction meds, and rest time. We left there knowing much more about preventative care than when we started, and the PT group was fantastic. I just can’t say enough about the whole staff from start to finish!
