Dr. Richard Arboleda, MD

I had an amazing experience! Doctor Arboleda explained all the treatment and has lots of experience. The staff is very welcoming. The Assistant is very professional and very personable.

It is a pleasure to have a Dr like Dr Arboleda. He is humble, knowledgeable and a good human being. The problem is the team behind him . The coordinator for the prescriptions never answers the phone, or update you when you have an issue with a refill. In the voice message, she mentioned that she will return the call to you by the end of the day, but she never done, inclusive by the end of the week or after 2 weeks. I called several time and in the Kendall office the staff helped me (Claudia) when I was hopeless because the doctor was out of town.

We waited over 2 hours with a sick child. They gave us incomplete information. We had to return to pick up a sample kit, they did not give it to us at our appointment. We completed stool sample twice and both times they were unable to give us results or locate it. One month later and we do not have results and are being told to collect a sample for a third time. Overall one of the worst experiences I have had with a doctor, and unfortunately at a time when we needed them the most.

Office staff not friendly, not helpfull at all, and they don't answer pt's phone calls for any concerns. To request a prior Authorization for medication i have to call dozens of time to get through someone.

I have no complaints about the doctor, but their billing practice needs to change. If you don't pay your bill within 30 days, they automatically send your bill to collections and from there on, they will be non responsive. Because it's at collections, they don't care if you've got a billing dispute or if they've made a billing mistake. If you want to press your case, then you have to file grievance with your insurance. Who has time? 30 days is barely enough time to get your bill and pay it.
