WARNING !
I have had swelling in my temples and headaches and was referred to this doctor if you want it call him that . He comes in with his notepad and medical bag and scowl on his face. Told me I wasn’t swollen in my temple area , that I didn’t have temporal arteritis . He very rudely said “you’re too young do the research!” An ER Dr actually recently treated me for this, in the case that was what it is. Anyways he asks what else is going on in a sarcastic tone. I told him my ANA was 76 and I’ve got osteoarthritis and fibromyalgia. When I questioned him about the swelling he was offended and was visibly angry He then, got off his stool, and said yeh, I’ll just tell Dr ball that I can’t help you . I told him he needed a better bedside manner: he said he would try Better next time. I will report him to capital health plan. I would ask others to report him to your insurance company. Awful, embarrassing experience.

I was referred for tingling in hands and feet. Dr. Blackburn efficiently and very quickly ran the appropriate tests and I was found to have substantial spinal stenosis and compression of my spinal cord. He immediately referred me for surgery, which I had within a couple weeks. I found him to be pleasant and professional. He explained everything and answered all my questions thoroughly. I would not hesitate to refer someone to him.

I WOULD NEVER SEND MY ENEMIES HERE MUCH LESS FAMILY! I have never seen a Doctor that is so rude! He does not listen to his patients, does not answer your questions, insults you because you ask him to explain. Did not review my questions that I had. I will not be going back after this experience. What happened to the oath to do no harm? It is Not in your best interest to go here. save your money and frustration. I don't care how good he thinks he is. A doctor that is arrogant and won't listen is useless. A doc in the box is a better investment. And if you see a neurologist in Tally for an issue the rest refuse to see you. Pick the best one first because you won't get a second chance! Trust me but verify. I had to give him one star and that is a gift! Where did he get his bedside manner? God gave you two ears and one mouth so you would listen and talk less. At least fake like you care about the patients paying your luxury lifestyle. Pray for this Man and especially his patients!

My Mom had a stroke that has left her very confused. This so called doctor has no heart, compassion or empathy whatsoever. PLEASE do not use this arrogant human being EVER.

Dr. Blackburn is pleasant, but from my non-medical standpoint, he is very old fashioned. I was not impressed, except for his pleasant personality. The billing was a shocker, though. The network discount was only 5% (normally it is supposed to be 60% - 80%), so you will come out of pocket much more here than anywhere else! In addition, Melinda (or Melissa...can't recall) from the billing dep't didn't seem to care, and was downright rude. I will never go there again.

I've been seeing Dr. Blackburn for over 20 years. He and his staff have always treated me well. Very rarely (if ever) have I had a long wait. His office is always very clean, He has always explained tests and treatments thoroughly to me, listened to me, and respected my views on treatment, etc.

My mom is in the hospital because of a stroke she had four days ago. Her right side is numb and cannot support her at all. Today her left side (starting in calf and moving up) has been in crazy pain and she has random jerks in body and limbs. They were worried she might be having another stroke. After CT and exam Dr. Blackburn came in and yelled at my mom about calling doctors over nothing and accusing her of not even being able to pay for her bill cause it's a lot of money. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!

Based my first and only visit, I would not recommend. He didn’t try to know anything about my condition and didn’t seem to be interested in entertaining my questions completely.

Dr. Blackburn is by far the least compassionate and caring physician I have ever been under the care of in my experience. In explaining myself and symptoms, Dr. Blackburn's responses were brief and lacked empathy. For someone that is new to migraines, it can be somewhat of a scary experience. If seeking some reassurance about your symptoms from a physician is what you're looking for, Dr. Blackburn is not the right physician for you. To be treated by a medical doctor as though this is asking too

He is one of the worst drs I ever seen. He was so rude to my Mom and Dad. Was very rough in examining my Mom and raised his voice every time we had a question. If we tried to explain the symptoms he acted like we were crazy. I felt like my Mom was humiliated and he told us when left there is no hope no cure raising his voice. I would not take my dog to him.
