Dr. Richard Blake, DDS

I’m a former patient of doctor Blake. I now have severe anxiety when it comes to going to the dentist. He smacked both me and my sister during procedures that needed numbing because he didn’t give us enough gas or numbing agent. WE FELT EVERYTHING. It was pure torture, nothing short. We were screaming and crying and he held us down and smacked us around insisting it didn’t hurt. I have a filling coming up, and I’ve been crying all month because of the trauma he inflicted on me. I haven’t been to the dentist in years because of him, and now I suffer the consequences. Parents, if you don’t want your children to hate you or scream and cry at the mention of a dentist appointment…TAKE THEM SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Horrible man that should have not been allowed to work on children and then he retires without notifying his patients. A-hole!!!

I went when I was child and now my son goes here I trust him and I don’t understand why I see over medicated he uses laughing gas The old fashion way he never but me asleep when I was child and he don’t do it to my son no anesthesia so that’s bull my son had many fillings never been out to sleep ever

I have gone to other dentists but none have provided to my child such a great care! My daughter have been going here for about 4 years now. Dr. Blake did an amazing job on my daughter’s dental work! After years of searching, I am so thankful to have found Dr. Blake for our pediatric dentist!

I am a former patient of Dr. Richard Blake. He is the reason I still panic when I visit any dentist. As said in other reviews, they do not allow parents to go back with their children. This was true in my experience. The nurses were rude and condescending. Anytime I would need work done on my teeth I would never get nearly enough anesthesia so I felt everything. The experience was pure torture. Getting a crown was the worst pain I have ever felt in my entire life. Dr. Blake should not be allowed to work on children. He should be banned from dentistry.

You must sign forms stating you will not go to any other dentist office. They require all children to be restrained for procedures and if you don’t consent they will not see your child. They will not allow you back with your child for anything they say it’s Hippa but other dentists have always allowed me back. They said my child needed QUITE A LOT MORE work than my child’s primary dentist said less than a month prior. After I question them they no longer would treat my child. I wouldn’t anyway.

Worst place ever to take a child. They unnecessarily over Medicate children for fillings and refuse to do anything else. Won't let parents in back. My daughter slept for 14 hours after they drugged her for fillings. She vomited several times and when she did wake up she acted so mean and violent it was unreal. They told her she was great in the chair before the fillings when we just went in for cleaning. Stay as far away from this place as you possibly can!!!
