Dr. Richard Brezing, MD

Dr. Brezing is the very best cardio surgeon in the state of Florida. In 1986, he performed open heart surgery on my uncle and saved his life. Today, June 29, 2023, he performed a very complex procedure on my 90-year-old Mother and saved her life. In addition to his amazing technical abilities as a surgeon, there is not another doctor anywhere who displays the kindness and compassion of Dr. Brezing. We are very blessed and will be eternally grateful for saving our loved ones.

Dr. Breezing is a caring and very patient caregiver. Offers great advice and has a calming effect on his patients. Excellent bedside manner. I would also like to give a shutout to Angela Smith. Angela went out of her way to be accommodating. She quickly made arrangements with all parties concerned and made appointments quickly.

I was very pleased with the surgery Dr. Breezing performed. I found out when I went home 5 days later that Dr. Breezing was called out on another surgery as soon as he was done with mine. Whoever he left in charge, dropped the ball and never reported back to my family how the surgery went or even when it was done. My family went from 9:30am until 5:00pm without hearing any updates. They knew it was suppose to take about 3 hours, so you can imagine how worried they were. Totally unacceptable!

Let's see, set-up appointment on Health Grades for 2:45 pm, HG confirmed date and time, office staff called and stated appt time was 1200 as the Dr. does not see patients in the afternoon. I waited for over 1 hour and 40 minutes to see the doctor. I heard another patient outside my room ask how much longer to seewas told she was next! I left as this would have been well over a 2hr wait! The staff could care less; if you want to be treated as insignificant with no value. This is the place to go!

Never call to tell my sister result of biopsy. No one cared to call to ask how she was doing following surgery. Doctor has no compassion for patient.

I had a quadruple bypass in Nov 2015. I can honestly say my experience thru the whole procedure was made better because of Dr. Brezing. He and his staff was exceptional. He was so very reassuring to me and my family. His confidence makes you less stressed, there was never any doubt in my mind I was going to be OK. I went thru the whole thing without any fear. I have been recovering very quickly and went back to work much sooner than I figured. I know I received top notch care.
