Empathetic Caregiver
Telehealth
Very, very good. I have been working with Dr. Corelli for over 20 years. My diagnosis is major depression. He has supported me through a change in careers, a miscarriage, the death of a parent, and many other life events. Dr. Corelli's approach is to listen more than talk. This approach works for me. It honors who I am. Dr. Corelli is not trying to change me. He is helping me to understand myself better so I can understand my feelings in, prepare for, or avoid certain situations. Dr. Corelli is empathetic, and has helped me to become more empathetic with others. Dr. Corelli is not cold at all; I think he is simply a bit shy.

Caring, understanding psychiatrist.
I was ~ 42 when I met Dr Corelli. He didn't speak much and I grew extensively in my personal life and continued an incredibly successful career. I'm now 70 years young and need to connect with him again.

Most of the time he doesn’t say anything and pretends to listen/ take notes. At first I used to think that he’s a good listener and note taker but he kept making mistake about the medication I was on for more than one time! (Which I find it to be a dangerous and concerning mistake for a medical professional that patients should trust!) Furthermore when he talks he is mean and insulting. In my last session he told me that “no one cares about how you look” and “you’re not the worst patient Ive ever seen, there are worse than you” and “you are a lost patient, your only hope is your sense of humor” . After these abusive and insulting quotes I decided to end my treatment with him.

I am baffled by positive reviews about talk therapy. He makes you come in once a week and sits there silent while you talk, offering NO insight. maybe even sleeping with his eyes open. how can one tell? total rubbish. switched to actual therapist with actual techniques. Doing their job. what a scam he runs.

In less than one minute, I explained my desperation to Dr. Corelli, asking if he could help me. He then asked me if I heard his instructions about filling out paperwork and refused to answer my question. Knowing I am paying cash for an appointment, I will not be paying for lack of compassion in a desperate time.

I tried to make an appointment with Dr Corelli. He sent me a large amount of paperwork to fill out ahead of time, including the top half of a claim form (which, as a physician myself, I have never made a patient fill out). He also required me to sign a statement that I would pay his full rate of $150/hr for every missed/cancelled appointment for which he did not receive a week's advance notice. I didn't sign it, so he wrote me back a tersely worded email refusing to accept me as a patient.

Terrific experience, and ongoing. I've been w Dr Corelli for about 6 years- originally to help me stop making stupid choices (I have) and now to stay on track. I never had therapy before and was surprised how little Corelli spoke- he mostly gave small prompts- which I needed in order to make my own decisions and understand consequences. I know nothing about Corelli, and this made it surprisingly easy to be honest and confident. Corelli's great. I can't recommend him or his style any higher.

Dr. Corelli's training, insight and skilled ability at honing in on not only my initial diagnosis, but also key issues needing addressed, has opened up a new world for me; one I never thought existed. Through weekly psychotherapy, and compliance on my end, we've been able to work through both the minor issues, and the initial breakthroughs of self discovery that has helped me succeed in not only personal life, but also, life. I would recommend him to any adult seeking the aforementioned.

I have seen Dr. Correlli for over six months. Through weekly therapy and medication he has helped me manage my symptoms of bipolar significantly. His manner is taciturn, but I find the results very helpful.

I see Dr. Corelli since about 5 years ago. During this time, I think the psychotherapy sessions with him helped me a lot in dealing with my condition. Dr. Corelli is very helpful in giving me feedback about my experiences and I feel that I can trust him in sharing my thoughts and feelings.
