I had been loosing the feeling in my hands and arms. My P.A. sent me for a MRI and recommended that I see a surgeon. Dr. Drake was the only person I would let operate on my back. The first visit he looked at the X-ray and said that I needed surgery A.S.A.P. and moved things around and made it possible for me to be in surgery the next morning. This was the second time he has operated on my back and the third time for Tulsa Bone and Joint. I would not hesitate to use him or them again. He really cares and treats you like a person just not just a patient.

Dr Drake was an excellent Dr he was very personable and told you before the surgery what to expect. He was one of the best Dr’s I’ve ever had. He was pleasant and so friendly I recommend him highly.

I was not happy. I didn’t actually meet the doctor I was scheduled to see, only his assistant, this doesn’t set well with me, especially since it was my first visit. His assistant seemed detached, and basically told me there wasn’t anything to be done to correct my problem, only to deal with the pain by getting an epidural steroid injection. He was clear that my weight was the issue. I’m very aware of my weight, and the work that needs to be done there. I was hopeful that a doctor would see me and we could come up with plan to fix, rather than mask, my herniated disc and get the compression off of my nerves, but I only left more defeated than when I came in.
