I had an appointment to get oral surgery on my wisdom teeth today, and was severely disappointed with Doctor Druce Richard's lack of professionalism and lack of experience. Although the office staff of women were extremely nice and well mannered, I cannot say the same for Druce Richard. I booked a sedation to get my wisdom teeth out. When I arrived at the office on the day of my appointment, Doctor Druce had to insert an IV line for the sedation into my vein. I do have "small" veins, and have my whole life. Druce Richard struggled at first, even when I pointed out where my veins were. After 5 minutes, he stated he would not be giving me sedation, and instead the options were local anesthetic, or laughing gas. I questioned him why he could not find a vein, and why no one in the office has experience to find veins, and was met with his agitated attitude. He blamed it on my anatomy, and said there was "nothing he could do if the IV line slipped out during surgery". One major takeaway I have from this upsetting experience at Druce Richard's office is that the doctor himself, Druce Richard, is inexperienced. I understand that different people have different anatomy. But it is your job, Druce Richard, to be practiced, especially at IV insertion, in order to be a good doctor. I recommend that Druce Richard takes training courses on IV insertion, and bedside manner. I would not recommend new patients to his practice, especially if you have different "anatomy".

Wonderful experience & great doctor
It was an absolute wonderful experience. Even though it's scary when having a root canal or a tooth extracted. Dr Druce and his staff are very experienced, kind, courteous very understanding and extremely thorough ,with great follow-up. We found the consultation & exam to be very informative. You will feel extremely comfortable with him he has the most wonderful chairside manner. and he gives you all the information that you need to proceed. Took my mom who's over 80 for a front tooth extraction. She couldn't decide between gas or IV sedation. She decision that day to go with gas. She was very happy with the decision to go with gas. For me in the waiting room it felt like it was 10 minutes. The patient was quite surprised how fast it was with absolutely no pain at all. No swelling after tooth was extracted but we did follow all his directions. I highly recommend this office. All the Best snd thank you all for taking wonderful care of my mother. From CD and Gigi

Excellent oral surgeon
I needed a tooth extraction. He explained everything well, numbed me enough and got it done. Felt a little pressure but no pain. Recommend!

This was my 1st visit, as a referral from my dentist to have 2 teeth pulled. The staff were very friendly and made me feel comfortable. I was nervous and they took all steps to reassure me and make the experience positive.
