Last Chance
I am a 70 yr old woman with a busted-up spine and a previous operation that didn't work long. I was seen by a medical assistant 1st but had no problem being Dr. Easton's next appt. I was operated on and am recovering well. I had many glowing remarks about him. If anybody was a risk it was me. I highly recommend him. He said he would fix me up and he did. Spinal surgery is always a risk but if you want a fighting chance his practice is a very good choice. No one was rude during my visits.

Dr. Easton has had to operate on many many times for a spine condition. I have trusted him 100% with my spine. I wouldn’t let anyone else treat me. He is caring and listens. Great bedside manner.

Dr Easton saved my life. I was in the most unbearable pain that pain medicine wouldn’t touch. Woke up from surgery and my pain was completely gone and the numbness in my arm was gone in a month. Can thank him enough. Amazing surgeon.

I scheduled a consultation with Dr Easton for second opinion on surgery for extreme pains due to stenosis of spine. Upon arrival I was informed I was seeing a P.A. Not the doctor. When I objected and stated I booked with the doctor, the cold impersonal sign in staff stated initial appointments are always with a P.A. Not the doctor. I have not experienced this anywhere else. Don’t go here and expect to be treated with professional courtesy.

He’s an excellent surgeon, however, if you’re not the average patient, his follow up is non existent. He told me verbatim “we don’t see patients like you, nobody makes it as long as you did. You were physically broken when you came in.” ... my recovery was still supposed to be 3 months (even after the surgery, in which they found the 2 bones they intended to cut for my fusion were already severed). I’m at 8 months and still struggling. Dr Easton WILL NOT see me! I’ve only seen him 4 times (prior to surgery, day of, day after and 3 months later). I can only see his P.A. My PCP has advised me to see a neurosurgeon. So if your average, go in with full confidence, if not, something to think about.

Had a bad accident with a person landing on me from 2 stories above. 3 years since my very intense spinal chord and multiple broken facet and discs. The works I call it. Dr. Easton spend a lot of time putting together a great team. So it's not just him even though he is the best and super experienced. I would give him and his team 10 stars

He is the best doctor I could have chosen for my back surgery. Came highly recommended by people from our golf club who are avid golfers. I am also a golfer and hope to be back to it when I can. He is kind, precise and definitely knows what he is doing. You can trust that he will explain everything to you that needs explaining. We were told by a lawyer at our golf club that he fixes other doctor's mistakes, so that was good enough for me to feel comfortable with him.

I have only gone to MAYO CLINIC (Scottsdale, AZ) for the last 21 years for my SPINAL PROBLEMS. After I read all the '5-Star Patient Ratings' on Dr. Richard Easton, and his physican-assistant Dr. Thomas Klick: I decided to make an appointment. WOW, I was pleasantly surprised with the level of expertise from all the STAFF from the moment I walked into their Rochester Hills, MI office. I wish I could give this extremely professional medical practice a 10-STAR REVIEW ! Rebecca Miller

This is my second spine surgery with Dr. Easton. My surgery has not been successful. Dr. Easton or his PA will not call or talk to you. Office staff has been rude and also will not return phone calls. If your surgery is successful, things will go fine due to the need not to get answers. Good Luck.

Dr. Easton is a gifted & skilled surgeon. Kindness is his forte. His nurse Sue is a gem. You'll be grateful to be in such good hands for this serious surgery. I wish the office was as professional, courteous, & concerned for the patient as he is. This office is poorly run, highly unprofessional, disingenuous & rude. Your appointment WILL be changed without consideration for your time, multiple times. Except it! I'd rather have a phone appointment w/Dr. Easton than deal w/this office staff.

Dr. Easton and his staff are very considerate and compassionate. Dr. Easton did my lumbar surgery in May 2017, and my cervical fusion in November of 2017. I had very little discomfort and now I'm pain free! Dr. Easton has a God given gift and if I or my husband should need spinal surgery, he's the only one I trust

From day one Dr.Easton made me feel like my life was to important to go through it in the pain I was in. He was so unbelievably kind and gentle, he was absolutely amazing! I woke up from surgery and i was instantly out of pain. Of course I had the surgical pain but that was all. Dr.Richard Easton saved my life!

Dr. Easton has been my surgeon for many years taking care of issues with my back. He is the most caring, warm physician I've ever encountered. He cares about you as a person not just "patient." He is absolutely the best there is when it comes to your spine and needing surgery.

Terrible! His Associated anesthesiologist (American Anesthesiology) apparently has a serious "GOD" complex. I was turned away from a scheduled appointment although I was on time and was the first one of the morning, due to not having a five minute questionnaire filled out! the appointment was for a steroid shot to relieve bad back pain- that simply shows NO COMPASSION for a patient who was looking for pain relief and had to wait 4 weeks just to get into a time slot for it. Complete disregard!
