Unpredictable and never ever on time
He'll set an appointment and then call you hours or days later sometimes. Says he'll send in a prescription and then forgets until you follow up with him weeks later, but of course blames it on the pharmacy. The only thing he is truly punctual and dependable about is getting paid - when he wants to get paid he will be there for you 100% but when you need him for any of your needs, it's a total guessing game.

Ongoing panic attacks beyond my control, didn’t know who to turn to. He’s very refreshing, and feels more like a therapist as opposed to just a psychiatrist that’ll just give you a prescription. He’s very patient, and takes the time to understand the problems going on in my life.

A great listener. We never feel like we’re just another number for the day. It’s never an issue to schedule an appointment, get a call back, or get a prescription filled. I feel he genuinely cares about the people he communicates with. I’d recommend him to anyone. He’s changed my life for the better and I’m happy with how things have been.

Compassionate, patient. I know dealing with patients that might have things going on in their personal lives everyday, can be quite stressful. Dr. Heidenfelder has always been more like a family friend, understanding and very caring when it comes to the problems in my personal life. He’s not your typical psychiatrist. Would recommend him.

I’ve been struggling with severe anxiety for over 25 years. It’s gotten to the point to where I didn’t know what to do about it anymore. I would always feel anxious, upset, sometimes depressed. Dr. H was able to help me get a handle on it. Very happy I started coming to this practice.

He’s a truly brilliant, insightful and caring therapist. He was able to help me think more clearly throughout the duration of our visits. Whenever I had problems, he was always there. There were times when I would call and just wanted to ask him a question, he was there. If I could give him 10 stars, I would. Very caring and insightful doctor.
