I am a new patient here. The first doc I saw here was Dr. Hawk. She has left this practice. I needed a routine visit for labs, etc and made an appointment with Dr. Hengel. First time seeing me, he spent the majority of our time on the computer. He spent precious little time getting to know me. He asked if I was compliant with my meds. I tried to tell him about the year that I have had so far and that I was about 90% compliant. His response to me was Why would someone like me ask you that?

I was very disappointed with my appointed with Dr. Richard Hengel. He very abrupt, arrogant and rude. Not a very good listener. He made no attempt to treat me of to refer me to anyone else. He asked who sent me to him and when I answered that my primary physician had referred me, then he asked, why did he send you to me? He critisized my allergy list, said it was not possible that I could have that many allergies and that some were Just intoleratents for me, and it was a turn off for any doctor.
