Doctor care below standards.
I was addmitted from the er with labored breathing and chest pain. Dr. Houston diagnosis was pneumonia. This was truly not the correct diagnosis as I had labored breathing, chest pain blurred vision. After him admitting me he did all the tests and discharged me with same symptoms I had going in. He discharged my after 430pm so I could not contact b anyone for second opinion. The pain and labored breathing were the same symptoms I n had when I suffered a previous Double saddle pulmonary embolism. Dr. Houst refused to take the time to come to see me to discuss my discharge with him and was convinced nothing further was wrong with me. Two plus weeks later I almost died as I suffered a double saddle pe once again. By the grace of God I survived.

Dr. Houston has the best besdside manner and personality of any Doctor I have had. He took the time and care to fully explain my diagnosis and options in a way that really showed he cared and was not just trying to rush through patients. He is courteous, clean, and professional and made a Doctor appointment, what I have in the past deemed unpleasant and a hassle, a good all around experience!

Where did doctors like Dr. Houston go! The most amazing, professional and compassionate doctor I've ever been to. He went over and above making sure I understood what was going on and what my options were. You can tell he truly cared about me and that I was comfortable with what was going on and my treatment plan. Thank you Dr. Houston... you made my hospital stay not so scary.

Dr. Houston is an extremely caring doctor. He listens to me - not only what my current situation is but goes deeper into my past medical history. He’s very knowledgeable about treatment plans and explains how the medical issues I have work with the treatment he prescribes. He makes sure I’m comfortable with understanding everything he suggests I do to live a healthy life.

Dr. Houston is a physician who takes his time and truly gets at your issues. He doesn't rush and has an incredible bed side manner. I highly recommend him.
