Dr. Richard Jacoby, DPM

I’m from out of town but I needed a podiatrist. His staff was welcoming and professional with no hesitation about whether my insurance would cover the visit. Dr. Jacoby was very prompt and resolved my issue quickly as we chatted together about various non medical things. I would certainly recommend him to anyone in need of his medical expertise.

I've been seeing Dr Jacoby for the past 10 years. I initially made an appointment for my morton's neuroma, which he quickly fixed with a shot. I usually go back annually for a booster. Plus, Dr Jacoby injected stem cells for my more painful issues (i.e., neck, shoulder, leg). Now, I no longer have those constant problems!

Spent the entire appointment talking down to my fiance and treating her like garbage instead of addressing the issue she was there for.

Dr. Jacoby is one of the best doctors I've ever seen. Professional and engaging bedside manner, thorough, explains everything excellent and gives you options for treatment. He is well versed, experienced and knowledgable about many approaches, solutions, treatments and options. He and his office staff are attentive, caring and handle things to make it easy on you. They've gone above and beyond several times to make it easier for me to navigate the system, insurance, referrals, etc. His office team, specifically Jamie is friendly, helpful and makes you want to come back almost as much as Dr. Jacoby! I was lucky to find him!

Dr. Jacoby is Wonderful and smart and is doing a wonderful thing with Peripheral Neuropathy. He can help you.

I took my son to see this Dr. for an ingrown toenail that was a mess. He had asked to just have his toe cut off. Unfortunately, this Dr. was not the man for this job at all. He did not wait for my son to be completely numb before starting to cut his toe nail, my son told him to stop and then just leaped off the table. I actually had told my son, that there was no way the Dr. would be working on him just yet since he had just done the shots, but to my horror when we got home, my son showed me his toe and sure enough this Dr. did cut into the bed of his toenail. I have since found another Dr. in Mesa and that experince was night and day. My advise is to look for reviews and save yourself and loved ones pain.

I found Dr. Jacoby by accident when finding out he offers a nerve therapy I was interested in for my son who has CRPS. My son has seen countless doctors regarding his condition and to my surprise, Dr. Jacoby was the most educated of all the podiatrists, orthopedists, pain specialists, and physical therapist he's seen. My son's case is extreamly atypical and complex. What I admired about him was, he knew what surgery he needed but had the humility to refer us out to 2 other possible surgeons that might be able to help my son. I loved that he didn't just start cutting and hope for the best even though he performs this surgery all the time. Wait times were great and easy to get an appointment. I had nothing but positive interactions with him and I'm so thankful he was able to point us in the right direction for answers we've been searching for for almost a year! He is also treating a friend of mine with another very rare and complex situation.

Dr. Jacoby is very friendly and i always feel he treats me to the best of his abilities. He gets me in quick and I always leave his office happy!

Dr. Jacoby always takes whatever time is necessary to talk with me about my condition and how my "health" life is going. I love that there is an x-ray machine, and whatever is necessary for the appointment in each room. Dr. Jacoby really cares about people and not MONEY, like so many Dr.'s today.

This guy is TERRIBLE. We got a referral for my elderly diabetic father, because Medicaid pays for diabetics to see a podiatrist every 3 months to trim their toenails etc. But this guy wouldn't even touch my father's feet--and they're not that bad for an 80-something old man. When I asked what we should do about foot care, he said, "Just take him to one of those manicure places in any strip mall." A decent doctor will tell you that's the last thing you should do.

Dr. Jacoby is concerned about a patient's overall good health, not just a hyper-focused piece of the puzzle. This is a rare find in physicians these days.

I went to Dr. Jacoby for heel pain. I had tried everything from changing shoes, OTC orthotics, ice & stretching. No relief. After my visit with him I started physical therapy in his office. I only needed four treatments and I'm back to my daily walks again. Thank you Dr. Jacoby & Staff!

Worst experience ever. This doctor gave me a injection for a big toe fracture (which I later learned a doctor should know better than to do this). The injection caused a hematoma from hitting blood vessels in addition to severe nerve damage that I have now had for 3 months. This could take years to heal if it even heals at all. Now I can barely walk let alone do all of the active things I used to do. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!

Dr. Jacoby is a very knowledgeable doctor. He uses a different approach than most doctors. He has all the latest and greatest technology in one convenient place. I thought I needed surgery on my torn tendon but he was able to do a non-invasive treatment and I am back to walking and being painfree!! Thank you Dr. Jacoby & Staff! Highly Recommend!
