conventional symptom manager with huge ego, beware
During a recent annual physical, I asked for some additional blood panels because I wanted to know my body's status in those areas. Mr. Kao refused me outright, and insisted that the tests are not necessary. I persisted and almost started begging, and Mr. Kao arrived at the conclusion that I was supposed to there for his advice, and I should take his word for it, without any other explanation. This makes me wonder, about why I am not able to request some tests, when I am paying for them out of pocket. The only reason I can arrive at is that he was too lazy to type out the orders, in addition to the fact that he wants his patients to do what he says, no questions asked. That is highly unprofessional and disrespectful towards the people he is supposed to help and service.

Rude. Don’t recommend.
He’s an unhelpful, egotistical doctor who made many false assumptions without asking questions to understand. He’s not a team work type of doctor, instead he practices the dictator approach.

not recommended if you care about your health
Kao is a mainstream 'physician' that treats symptoms rather than the root of a health issue. He is also arrogant, has a big ego, and readily rejects opinions that he does not agree with. Not recommended if you want to be treated with respect and professionalism.
