Appointment Crash
Have been seeing Ko for a few years. Pretty good at what he does. Office staff is declining, less than welcoming, not friendly. Had an appointment today at 11am. Arrived and office door was locked. Friday must be a "fun" day. They let me in and told me I had no appointment scheduled. Somebody screwed up! No apology given. Office is extremely hard to get in touch with, have to go thru a cumbersome Ohio Health call tree service. Time for a new doctor!

I’d like to explain why I am discontinuing being his patient for treatment of my sleep apnea. My CPAP fell on the floor and broke before September 1 when I promptly saw him and was told to schedule a home sleep study. While someone was supposed to get in touch, I gave up waiting and scheduled my pickup. The test results came back in written form informing me that my apnea was severe, along with low oxygen. Due to these results, they told me to schedule an overnight test. Calling to arrange this was difficult, with the first appointment available was in two months, Mid-January and that following this, it would take another month to receive the replacement machine. Wow, this seems crazy. If my situation was so severe, why wasn’t a machine replacement deemed a priority? Why didn’t I receive a call from Dr Ko to discuss my situation? I am seeing another doctor at The Ohio State Medical Center who is speeding up the process as Dr Ko should have. Sincerely disappointed

I would highly recommend Dr. Ko. Dr. Ko knows his stuff, Very intelligent, listens to patients and family questions thoroughly. Talked at length with me, the son; while surrounded by his 4th year med students about blood thinning options for my mom in our room at Riverside. His assistant Jessica was great for setting up Bi pap equipment from the beginning to Insurance to making sure; The Bi pap Machine was gong to be delivered to our home. From our family, thank you Dr. Ko and Jessica.

He is very knowledgeable, friendly and courteous. He listens to all my concerns and explains all procedures and medications well. He is the smartest person i've ever met. I've had several nurses at multiple hospitals comment on how he's by far one of, if not the smartest doctor I've worked for or with. I have and will recommend him to family and friends. He is what I like to call GOOD PEOPLE!
