Dr Kootman and his staff are professional experienced and create a welcoming atmosphere. We were referred to him several years ago we trust his diagnosis’s , surgeries and we would not think of changing Dr Kootman or offices! I especially like that students are part of his practice. I arrived in Arizona needing a Cornea Specialist to correct my vision problem. I was not familiar with the areas Ophthalmologists combined with a Cornea Specialist. I checked reviews and local recommendations. I found Dr. Kootman and very glad I did. He and his staff made the entire procedure of correcting my vision using surgery a total success. I am very pleased with the results. Dr. Kootman and staff were efficient and helpful. I am happy to recommend him to anyone needing quality eye care.
Note: He also travels to a local clinic in Wickenburg Az. near my home and followed up on my surgery results. I rate him 5+. Thanks

Dr Kootman is amazing! I can’t say enough great things about him as a cataracts surgeon! From the first visit where he completed his thorough assessment and explained the procedure and the various options available to me, to the actual cataracts surgery where he meticulously worked with the utmost precision and care and explained what he was doing each step of the way, telling me exactly what to expect and how I would feel during and after the procedure. I had my first eye done on Nov 16 and I am seeing 20x15 in that eye, and I had my second eye done yesterday, and I am seeing 20x20! Nothing short of amazing!

I have been "Seeing" Dr. Kootman for some time. He did my Cataract surgery's on both eyes. I am 80 now, how that occurred is beyond me! He, in my words, walks on water. The nicest best caring man you'll ever know! YOU can TRUST him...

I was pleased with the cataract consultation visit. I only had to drive to Peoria twice, once for all the measurements and then the actual surgery. All the follow ups were done locally. i am pleased with the results an felt Dr. Kootman was through an conscious regarding the results.

Dr. Kootman is an excellent Ophthalmology provider and surgeon. Very thorough and will answer any and all questions asked of him. I have ha two cornea transplants and could not be happier with the results. Crystal clear vision restored. Than you very much Dr. Kootman. I have no qualms referring friends and family to this outstanding provider. The staff is also great, making you feel like family.

I went to Dr Kootman to correct a fast forming cataract in my right eye because another Dr refused the surgery. Dr. Kootman performed laser surgery soon after. I healed quickly with excellent eyesite restored. It was hoped that my bad left eye would not need surgery for a yr or two. Unfortunately, 5 months later, I developed a fast forming cataract. Dr Kootman to the rescue again, got me in quickly, researched my specific eye problem, performed surgery & excellent results again. He is super.
