Good care, no issues
Been a patient for 8 years now and my experience with Dr Kozeny has been good. He spends enough time with me and asks and listens to anything I have to say about my health or current goings on with my family. Any medical issue I've had he takes the time to look into it and if I need to see a specialist he is quick to get me an appointment with another dr. I've also had really good experiences with his nurses and office staff. I've been able to send him them questions via email or call and speak to his nurse and I get a timely response, even get a new script over the phone unless it's something he needs to see me about. I have no complaints at all about him or his staff. They have served me well.

Sets a record for the shortest office visits. 4 minutes each for last two. Shows no interest in results of visits with specialists to whom he refers patients. Shows no interest in patients' life, interests, activities, or immediate family members.

I've been seeing Dr. Kozeny for a long time. He always takes time to listen to me and takes care of whatever needs I have. I don't have any problems getting referrals to specialists or getting tests done that I need. I recommend him highly.

I went to Dr Kozeny 5 yrs ago and had to move out of state to help with family member. I loved Dr Kozeny. He was knowledgeable and compassionate and I felt amazing physically and emotionally. Since I moved to Washington I have felt awful. I'm moving back to St Louis in the next several months and praying he is still taking new or old patients. I want to see him because my health was never better when under his care. Thank you Dr Kozeny!

Dr Kozeny is a good dr but his nurses are completely rude and disrespectful! Called for prescription refill and never got call back nor did the pharmacy get his refills and they reached out twice. The nurses literally yelled at me when I called again stating I needed bottle in front of me with name of scrip last refill and mg of meds. Don't they have that in their computer system?? And they yelled at me stating pharmacy needed to escribe not fax. I have never in my life been so disrespected and I have found my dad a new dr!!!

You can never reach the office. Expect to be on hold at least 30 to 45 minutes to talk to anyone. They are unhelpful and rude on the phone. They do not call you back the same day. They no longer have a way to even leave a message. To get a referral you get grilled and told it may not be approved, then it takes at least a week to receive it. I requested treatment orders for a care facility and incorrect information was sent.

Dr. Kozeny is the best doctor I have ever had. He is the only doctor to bring my high blood pressure, anxiety, and hypertension under control. He asks the right questions and makes the right assessment to prescribe me the right medicine. I strongly recommend him if you are in the St. Louis area

Just had a "follow up" with the doctor. Dr. Kozeny could not have cared less about me. I paid extra for an exam and got no special examination. He doesn't follow up on test results. How he got this high rating is beyond my comprehension. The office staff is not friendly -- they call demanding follow up visits (all billed to Medicare) that lead to nothing. Interesting.

I respect Dr. Kozeny's medical skills. I can not say the same for the Chesterfield Internal Medicine and Rheumatology LLC group to which he belongs. The group's contact phone (recording followed by wait times from 5 to 20 minutes) serves 5 doctors. The responses (5 calls) were curt bordering on surliness. Tone of voice - I'm busy-I'm doing you a favor. Several information and call-back requests were ignored (chest x-rays-CT scan-online portal problems). Seems they don't need the business.
