My father was treated by doctor lloyd years ago and now that I work in healthcare I believe he failed to provide adequate treatment. First of all, my father had pancreatic cancer and that’s not his main specialty. Treating it a few is different that an oncologist that specializes mainly with that cancer. Second his treatment changed twice with out giving us a clear goal. He didn’t tell us if it was just to extent his life or just comfort. He didn’t provide alternatives and at one my mother overhear him tell my father to just stop because there was no hope. THATS NOT YOUR DECISION, THAT WAS HIS. While this happened 20 years it I always had a feeling something wasn’t right. This is more of a cautionary tale to make sure you research your doctor and make a good choice. Being in my 20s I had no ideas what to ask or look for. It goes w/o saying I wouldn’t recommend Dr. Lloyd or nurse practitioner, she was awful too.

Dr Richard Lloyd is wonderful, extremely kind, professional. He does an exquisite job taking care of all patients. He is an old fashion doctor who carefully considers all aspects of patient's care. He always thinks of not only the best treatment, but also the optimal treatment for the patient's condition; prescribing the optimal dose for chemotherapy; considering the well being of the patient. I love, love, love Dr Lloyd! He is the best doctor I ever had. Kudos to Dr Lloyd!
