Dr. Richard Orsi, MD

Though I have not seen Dr. Orsi in close to 20 years I can say without reservation that he is the finest, most caring physician I have ever known in my 70 years. He cared for my children and I with, I have to say, a truly loving manner. When the kids were very young I'd watch him listening to their hearts and lungs with his stethoscope. With his eyes gently closed he listened with an intensity that made me blink back my tears. He was always open to alternative treatments and discussion of illness and care. Dr. Orsi is the most informed and most thorough physician I have ever known. He is a caring, ighly competent family practitioner.

Dr. Orsi cares for my geriatric brother who's on Medicaid, of whom I'm guardian. Dr. Orsi never fails to treat him and I with courtesy and professionalism. He always demonstrates his familiarity with my brother's medical (and personal!) history, which draws out my brother and makes our visits pleasant. He's perceptive and very thorough, which is really needed in our case. I've been to plenty of physicians who are rushed and don't get to know their patients - I'll take Dr. Orsi any day!

Dr. Orsi on 3 occasions with three family members took over an hour to see while waiting in one of rooms after nurse took vitals. At which point I walked out on the 4th visit. During one visit his demeanor was not of a professional medical provider. He went into long drawn out stories on the subject matter in hand of each objective visit to resolve the problem. We had an appointment with Community Care to see Dr. Orsi after we walked out, which we requested to change to Dr. Marshall.
