Excellent doctor and staff
He and Danielle were very patient with my sister, clearly explained her situation, was professional, and put her at ease with a difficult outcome. So happy we were referred to him for the best surgical care. Bless you all!

Best Surgeon knows his talents.
So far, I have no complaints. He stopped a bleed I had had for several years. I was having to get blood transfusing's almost every other day. My legs were so swollen it hurt to walk on them. One polyp was huge and oozed blood if it was touched. There is pain as there is with most surgeries. Would I do it again absolutely. Very nice doctor who did take the time to explain it all to me. Yes, I would also recommend him to anyone needing the care I received. Thank you, Doctor Pokorny, for making changes I can now live without getting blood transfusing every two weeks. I hope this review helps someone who is having problem's and really need help in deciding who to see. I have only been out of the hospital a little over a week, but healing takes time. I am ready for that.Sincerely Irene Bouteiller 1/11/2024

He is a great Dr. That grueling cares about his patients. He did surgery on my gallbladder hernia, everything went great. A couple weeks later I had a tiny drop of blood on my incision, my family Dr told me to inform Dr. Pokorny. I alled and told them it was nothing. Dr. Pokorny called me back and wanted to see me anyway. Lol, he apologized for wasting my time having me come in. I really appreciated his concern.

Dr Pokorny may be a talented surgeon but his disregard to inform me exactly what he decided to surgically repair on me created a nightmare for me. I was told nothing about what to expect post-op on his revised procedure since he never informed me. I would have NEVER had the surgery done had I known. I would NOT recommend him to ANYONE

Performed a colon resection on me. Transected my urerter. Had no idea what he had done. Tried to send me home three days later with a belly full of urine. Contracted mrsa, had 5 additional procedures hospitalized a total of 28 days. Took 9 months to correct his "error". Good luck!

Dr. Pokorny did my colonoscopy several years ago, and he removed my 90-year-old mom's gallbladder last week. It is obvious that he sincerely cares for all of his patients. A skilled surgeon with a caring heart.

he was my surgeon twice, I should have known better than to use him the second time. He removed my gallbladder, five days later I had to have emergency surgery because he did not seal two of my ducts. Later I found out he had no sleep the night before, due to a late flight home from a skiing trip with his son. The next problem occurred Six years later when he did a port placement on me and nicked my lung, I had to have a chest tube in for four days.
