I’ve had such a great experience so far.
The staff is surprisingly amazing. The forms I filled out online in advance helped me a lot to better understand the symptoms and made me think for how long I’ve been experiencing each of them to get ready for a discussion with the doc during the appointment. The receptionist, doc assistant and the doc were very friendly and they had no rush at all to hear me out. The doc didn’t make assumptions and requested me to come back with the imaging and other exams that will assist him propose the treatment.

Unreliable and Bad Diagnosis
Awful. False diagnosis made up that was irrelevant to complaining symptoms and was disproven with testing. Didn’t go over test results that actually mattered. Often gone during office hours.

I had sinus surgery the beginning of June. This office never did a follow up call or visit and I've been calling ever since for post surgical issues. They never answer the phone and I've left 8 voice messages, over the past 8 weeks and have yet to receive a call back. But, my insurance was quick to get a 40k bill.

Went back to Dr. RUIZ, As usual he helped with my ears, he found something in my throat, precancerous on my vocal cords, maybe, they set me up for a specialist at ucsd. Went to Ucsd, they said no cancer, thank God for Dr. Ruiz, why because cancer runs in my family. I feel a lot better with that answer. Would I recommend Dr. Ruiz yes I would. He is a awesome Doctor, knows his job kind, friendly,. If you want to feel better and get the correct Treatment, go to him !!! His staff is excellent at their jobs, sweet, warm, they care!!!.Thank you Dr. Ruiz and staff. Teka Davis. This is the 2nd time to his office and if needed I will go back..

Don't go, his medicines caused huge nose-bleeding I couldn't stop for 3 days, almost was an emergency as I got very ill from his advice....bad on ever giving you credit for payments. He's a phony doc. Bad doc....the worst I've ever seen for sinus problems. Now I can't reach them to cancel an app't I never made 5 months after seeing him.

Dr. Ruiz was able to help me with a chronic bloody nose. After the first visit the bleeding was much less but still bleed. After the second visit I have had no nose bleeds for several weeks.

I have dealt with a lot of Physicians in my career and due to numerous health issues, but this doctor takes the cake. He is so arrogant. He gives you limited instructions, and then tells you you did it wrong. If you ask him a question, he thinks you are trying to challenge him! I always felt that he just wanted my money, and would say whatever he could to get you out of the office. He is very inconsistent in how he treats patients and his staff, depends on if he is having a good day.

Everything about this Doctor and the office, staff was completely unacceptable, misleading, and unprofessional! I would not recommend anyone to this office! They denied my insurance after accepting it during the office visit! My appointment was rescheduled a week later, do to an office staff mistake. My friend, warned me about, this office and Doctor. I tried them, because, they had the 1st appointment available, and I really needed to get it, due to a severe ear infection! Now I know why!!????

I first saw Dr. Ruiz 3 years ago. I returned again on 3-3-16. Upon arrival I was informed that I owed him 77.00. This was the first I had heard of it. In the 3 years in between visits, I had not heard from his office regarding any bill. I still live in the same place as I did 3 years ago. He refused to see me because I allegedly owed him money. I felt humiliated and hurt. I was in pain. I would not recommend him to a dog let alone a human. Money is more important to him
